Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence and administrative office of the British royal family since the 19th century and is one of the few remaining working royal palaces in the world. Public access to the interiors is limited to the summer, but it’s worthwhile for those who arrange a visit.

What are people saying about Buckingham Palace

Great Use of Time!
This was an excellent, well-organized tour including both Windsor and Buckingham Palaces. Our guide was Toby and we could not always hear his commentary. From the beginning he explained that he would speak to one end of the group and repeat his remarks to the other end of the group. However, we felt that that he and we would have benefitted from an audio/headset arrangement so that we could fully appreciate the history and significance of each site.

Gorgeous interiors with lots of history
Always wanted to see the inside of Windsor and Buckingham. Both places did not disappoint. Gorgeous interiors with great history behind each one. Afternoon tea at Buckingham Palace cafe was one of the highlights.

Marina was great! Very professional very fun and very knowledgeable. She took us to the off beaten path, and also to the changing of the guards, where it was not extremely crowded
