The basics

Start the day at Dutch Wonderland by riding the bird’s-eye-view monorail or sky ride as they wind through the 48-acre (19-hectare) property. Near the entrance, you’ll find Duke’s Lagoon, a shallow water park, open only in the summer, that features slides, spray nozzles, and cabana loungers. Other rides and attractions include classics like bumper cars, a flying trapeze, the Kingdom Coaster, and Merry-Go-Round. Out on Exploration Island, a dinosaur bone dig gives kids a chance to get dirty, and a walking path wanders past dinosaur sculptures and provides a shady respite from the rides.
