Reise von Norwegens Fjorden in das mystische Herz des Trolllands auf diesem ganztägigen Landausflug von Ålesund. Sie fahren entlang der spektakulären Fjorde, wobei Sie das Dorf Sjøholt, die Erdbeerstadt Valldal und Schlucht Gudbrandsjuvet besuchen. Wasserfälle und Trolle, oh mein Gott!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit auf dieser Tour mit unserer Reiseleiterin aus Frankreich, sie war wunderbar! Viele schöne Wasserfälle zum Anfassen! Sie machten sogar einen zusätzlichen Zwischenstopp, um uns saisonale norwegische Erdbeeren zu besorgen. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass wir in der kurzen Zeit, in der wir auf unserer Kreuzfahrt im Hafen waren, viel von der Region sehen konnten. Vielen Dank!

Amazing fjords and waterfalls.

What a beautiful country! The Troll Rd trip was in a van that carried about 10 of us from our cruise ship. The trip went in and out of tunnels, along fjords, and next to waterfalls and forests. The guide, Bus, and driver, were entertaining and knowledgeable. Only hiccup was the prescribed meeting place near the ship was unclear and our group was in one location and van driver in another. We eventually met up and had no problem seeing all sites and returning with amble time.

The trip was amazing,
We enjoyed every moment.
Especially the guide Bas who was very very nice and also had a lot of knowledge and interesting stories about the area, the population and the history.
In short, highly recommended.
For those arriving by cruise ship, this trip is equivalent to the trip that was offered on our ship, but at a reasonable price!

Thank you for your review, however you have misrepresented how our tours work. Our standard tours are always 45 seats and take place on a normal coach. If we get only 19 bookings or less for a particular tour we may sometimes put our standard tours in a mini-bus, but our standard tours are never advertised or promised as being on a small bus (and never a van). The only way our customers would be promised a small bus is when they book a private tour. I'm afraid that you did receive what was promised. Hope you enjoyed our tour otherwise.
Edited to add: After speaking with you via email it seems that you confused our tour in Norway (which you were on) with another tour company in Iceland, promising a van.

Very well organised full day trip from Alesund. We visited the most important sights near the city, had a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide, Bas and a very qualified driver, Erling. Ideal tour for cruise ship passangers.

We enjoyed seeing the beautiful countryside, and our guide (Lucy) did an excellent job providing interesting background information. Our only disappointment, and the only reason we didn’t give a five-star review, is that the tour description said “15-person maximum,” and we ended up on a bus with more than 60 passengers. We prefer smaller group tours, and the description was misleading.

Just wanted to clarify a few things. 15 people would be for our private excursions where you go with a mini-bus (unless of course you're a larger private group). Our standard tours are always on a large coach unless we only have enough bookings for a mini-bus. Our large buses usually cap out at 45-48 passengers and not 60. We apologize for the confusion.

Wonderful Guide and Driver, Beautiful Country

We had so much during this trip! Our guide was just amazing, she was cheerful, energetic and very knowledgeable. She told us many stories about Norway and facts about the places we visited. Even though it was very cold, we enjoyed the drive and she even bought strawberries for all of us at a roadside stand! The included lunch was very good. Our driver skillfully maneuvered through the harrowing hairpin turns of the Trollstigen and we felt very safe. Our guide would’ve taken us to see more of the city but some people on our bus were getting antsy to get back on the ship. We loved this tour and highly recommend it to anyone stopping in Alesund.
