Sunset Cigar Cruise!

Das Segelboot und die Führer waren erstklassig! Nichts ist schöner als die untergehende Sonne und der über dem Wasser aufgehende Mond. Leider halte ich es für die Unternehmenspolitik, einem Gast zu erlauben, die frische Seeluft zu verschmutzen und den Komfort anderer zu stören, indem er während der gesamten Reise eine Zigarre raucht. Sonst wäre es ein 5 Sterne Erlebnis gewesen. Ich war verblüfft, als ich den Kapitän darauf aufmerksam machte, dass es erlaubt war. Es war sehr unhöflich und hat die Erfahrung stark beeinträchtigt.

This may have been our favorite experience from our entire trip. It was absolutely beautiful. We stayed within the barrier Reef so the ride was nice and smooth. Our guides were accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. The ceviche was to die for! We started out with a slow cruise down the shoreline and stopped to watch the sun go down. Plenty of time was given to take pictures. Then, we sailed back to the dock under the stars. Constellations and planets were pointed out to us as well as any marine life we saw along the way. All in all a relaxing and memorable experience.

My family and I did a sunset sail tour on 1/21 with Captain Crunch (aka George) and his wonderful first mate whom I can’t remember the name of (I’m so sorry, I’m terrible with remembering names and there was a lot of rum punch flowing during the tour). If sailing in a beautiful boat at sunset wasn’t exciting enough, as soon as the sun went down we were treated to a star show in the middle of the ocean. Our guides were both funny, knowledgeable, personable, and kind. They were constantly asking us if they could refill our drinks or get us some snacks and it was such great service. They really do it all on that boat. Sailing, bartending, fishing, stargazing, and story telling. They served us chips and salsa, ceviche, and fresh fruit, as well as pretty much any kind of drink we could ask for. We learned so much from the tour and it was one of the most memorable parts of our entire trip to Belize. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience! Would definitely book again if we return to Belize!

Although we were hampered by cloudy skies, and no sunset… the crew did the best they could to make sure we had a good time. Boat was very comfortable, unlimited drinks were offered, and the appetizer snacks were tasty (ceviche and chips). Crew was witty and fun and very focused on our safety. We had a great time!
