Treffen Sie Ihren Reiseleiter in Ihrem Hotel in Anchorage vor 13:30 Uhr. Ihrer Abfahrtszeit um 08:30 Uhr. Steigen Sie in ein komfortables Fahrzeug für die Fahrt entlang des malerischen Wattenmeers des Turnagain Arm, bekannt für seine vielfältige Tierwelt. Erfahren Sie mehr über die Gegend von Ihrem Reiseleiter, während Sie Ausschau halten nach Dallschafen, Belugawalen und anderen Tieren in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung.

Danach geht es weiter zum Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, das Zufluchtsort für Tiere ist, die nicht Überleben in freier Wildbahn. Sehen Sie die 12 Arten wilder Tiere, um die sich das Zentrum derzeit kümmert, einschließlich Waldbisons, Moschusochsen und Luchse.

This was one of the best tours I have been on for a long time. Our guide was really knowledgeable about the area, local widelife, and the history of Tournagain Arm. We saw eagles and belugas on the drive. Lots of photo ops and breathtaking scenery. The animals at the Conservation were amazing. I especially loved hearing the wolves howl. Highly recommend this tour!

Wow. What a day! Started out drizzling and very cloudy so we almost canceled and so glad we didnt. We have taken many tours all over the country and Matt (Mathew) is the best tour guide we ever had! Great way to see Portage Glacier

This was a wonderful excursion and Matt was a great guide. We saw so many animals, both in the wild and at the conservation center. We stopped at a number of beautiful photo spots. The highlight was of course Portage Glacier. The glacier was beautiful and the cruise was nice. I learned so much and loved every minute of this activity. I would recommend this to anyone. Pickup was easy at the clearly labeled pickup spot, and we left right on time. There was enough time at each of the stops to see everything we needed and wanted to.

He knows when the salmon are running, where Bob Ross found his inspiration, and when new life was at the conservation area. Matt was a wonderful guide who shared so much great info about the landscape, the water, trees, and wildlife. He explained why things were the way they are and history. He pointed out waterfalls and eagles along the way (tide was too low for belugas) and took us to a bonus stop to see salmon in a creek!

Matt was a superb tour guide. He is very knowledgeable, sharing facts and statistics along with his own personal experiences. He helped us appreciate what we were viewing all along the way. The Conservation Center was a great way to see native animals in a natural setting without the search. Finally, the cruise along the leading edge of the Portage glacier was spectacular, thanks to the perfect weather conditions. No rain!! A big thank you to Matt for enhancing our appreciation of the magnificent sites located a relatively short distance from Anchorage.
