The tour was very interesting. The tours were very well explained. The guides are professionals who explain in detail the history of each temple and each attraction. The food at El Barco is good, although it could be better. The room on the cruise was very comfortable, the bathroom could be better prepared and cleaned. The balloon day was canceled and was not replaced by anything. Overall, it was a good trip with a few minor logistical issues.

My tour guide Mr. Micle/ Assuan / temple of Philae My tour guide Ms. Heba in Luxor Both of them were funny, full of knowledge they shared in a very entertaining way. Luckily I had both of them alone for me. The best sightseeing was Abu Simbel, the valley of kings and Karnac. And last but not least the ballon ride. You have to get early, but it is worth it. The cruise on the Nile was nice, but next it should be definitivly wärmer, at least 30 degrees, not 15, like it was for me.

Overall nice experience but poor planning

We had a sweet and sour experience with thus tour The cruise itself was great, very convenient way to explore the different temples and relax between excursions. However, our itinerary was packed with activities, most of which started really early in the morning (around 4 am), which led to us being exhausted throughout the day and not enjoying the cruise as much as we would have liked to. Despite all this, the room was cosy, the buffet tasty and varied and the crew was attentive, so we enjoyed it. The worst part was that we specifically booked the cruise from Aswan to Luxor since we had planned the rest of our trip around this. However, 1 day before departure, and because we contacted the company (not the other way around), they suggested that we should start in Luxor in order to include all the activities on the itinerary. Otherwise we would not be able to do the Abu Simble tour. This is something I specifically asked before booking and they said it wouldn't be a problem. But it turned out to be. So we had to change our itinerary and book an extra train from aswan to Luxor at the end of our cruise in order to continue with our Holidays. Given this bad planning, we were very disappointed with the service.

Great tour for a decent price

We really enjoyed this tour and it was a good value for the money spent. We arrived by night train from Aswan and were picked up by a Guide who showed us the sights in Aswan and brought us to the boat afterwards. This was very well organized. The boat was better than expected for this reasonable price. The cabins were pretty big, there was a pool and some leisure areas. The food on board were ok but nothing special. Our boat was magic 2. the other tours during the trip were also really good and we enjoyed all the information from our guides with a broad knowledge. Our highlight was clearly the hot air balloon on the last day. Overall we would highly recommend this tour to every other travellers.

Great experience, but NOT a luxury cruise

Fair warning: the viator site will let you book the cruise on any day but it is not available every day. We were told we were being put on the reverse cruise from Luxor to Aswan on a different day than what we booked the rest of our trip around. The room temperature is out of your control and is quite cold amd refreshing after a hot tour. There is no iron or coffee/tea in the room. The front desk staff on Opera cruise were rude but the rest of the staff was wonderful. The food was delightful with the exception of being served raw fish on accident one time. The are no snacks between meals, so buy some snacks before you board the ship. The guides provided were very helpful and spoke good English. It was a good value for the money spent. The coordination for the pickups was excellent.

Best trip ever!! You must do this Nile River cruise. Our guide Ahmed was excellent. He took care of everything from the moment he picked us up at the Luxor airport all the way to end of cruise by dropping us off back to the Aswan airport. He was very professional and very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. He even helped us scheduling our PCR test-to go back to the USA, he scheduled a Hotel visit appointment, from a technician from the children’s cancer hospital in Cairo. The boat was very clean and beautiful, it over exceeded my expectations…I was worry it was going to be a crappy boat….but nope!…the River boat was excellent. The cabins were huge…like suite type cabin from Caribbean cruises, private bathroom with a bathtub, huge windows to enjoy a full view of the Nile from your own private cabin. Food was excellent, no one got sick and they are very cautious on cleaning the common areas and the dinning rooms. We are so happy that we did this cruise, we got to see all the sites mentioned on the advertised itinerary. Just one word of cautious, if you are doing this cruise during the summer Jun-August, it is extremely hot in Egypt…so please keep that in mind as all the sites are outdoors. Bring breathable and light colors clothes, a Hat, sun glasses, sun block, a good pair of Sneakers…you will be walking A LOT on the sun and heat!…if you can, please bring a small traveling umbrella!!! You will be thankful…there is not much shade at these sites. And lastly, don’t forget to bring a small backpack so you can carry your water and snacks as you will be out of the boat for the majority of the mornings. Overall, please visit Egypt, it is safe for tourist, their people are nice and welcoming and definitely do this Nile cruise!!

Ho completato una crociera indimenticabile sul Nilo e non posso fare a meno di condividere quanto sia stata eccezionale. Dall'inizio alla fine, ogni aspetto di questo viaggio è stato curato con grande attenzione, regalandomi un'esperienza veramente magica. La nave è stata una piacevole sorpresa. L'attenzione al dettaglio e il comfort erano evidenti ovunque. Le cabine erano spaziose e ben arredate, offrendo una vista spettacolare sul fiume. Il personale di bordo era attento, cordiale e sempre pronto ad assistere, rendendo ogni momento a bordo davvero piacevole. Le guide turistiche che ci hanno accompagnato durante le visite erano ben informate sulla storia e la cultura dell'Egitto e ci hanno ben assistito in tutte le visite. I pasti erano vari e abbondanti, con un'ampia scelta di piatti tradizionali e internazionali. È stato un piacere assaporare i sapori locali mentre osservavo le rive del Nilo passare. Consigliato!!!

El viaje estuvo bien en el crucero. Pero no se cumplio con todo el itinerario. No visitamos el templo de Luxor y nos dejaron sin guía una noche en Luxor. Tuvimos que salir solos y tuvimos un percance con el transporte. Eso nos malogro el viaje. Lo hice notar al contacto que nos dieron en destino, pero no recibí ningun respuesta.

No hay coordinacion entre la agencia Viator y el crucero, te dejan abandonado, sino reclamas o pides q se comuniquen en arabe desde el crucero, ni se molestan en avisarte, total desinformacion, el guia de Abu simbel no se hizo cargo de nuestro grupo que eramos solo 2 familias, ademas tenia 2 grupos de diferentes empresas a su cargo, y ninguna le interesaban. Y el guia de Komombo ni se presento, y la agencia no nos informo. PESIMA EXPERIENCIA, NI PARA RECOMENDAR
