Toller Tagesausflug nach Abu Simbel

Tolle Kommunikation und pünktliche Abholung. Die Fahrt erfolgte in einem schönen Auto und wir konnten auf der dreistündigen Fahrt nach Abu Simbel schlafen (und auf dem Rückweg, da dies der 12. Tag unserer 14-tägigen Reise war und wir insgesamt erschöpft waren! ). Wir hatten einen Fahrer und ein Ratgeber. Sie hielten an und kauften uns ein paar Snacks (Pommes, Süßigkeiten, Getränke). Haney, unser Fahrer, war sehr nett und sehr gut. Wir haben uns die ganze Zeit über sicher gefühlt. Unsere Reiseleiterin Mina kannte sich sehr gut mit Assuan und Abu Simbel aus. Wir machten Mittagspause in einem authentischen kleinen Restaurant vor Ort und es war köstlich! Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, diese Reise zu buchen!

Tolle Reise. Die Abholung in unserem Hotel verlief reibungslos. Michael brachte uns zu unserem Auto. Die dreistündige Fahrt nach Abu Simbel war angenehm. Vor Ort angekommen versorgte uns Michael mit vielen interessanten Informationen. Wir gingen herum, machten Fotos und machten eine Pause für ein schönes Mittagessen in einem örtlichen Restaurant. Bestellen Sie den Fischauflauf… . lecker. Ich kann Michael und diese Tour wärmstens empfehlen.

The tour was well organized and executed. My flights were on time and Hany picked me up and took me back all perfectly on time. I enjoyed not being in a big group of people a whole lot because I was able to get a lot of great photos with the help of my tour guides. This is super appreciated. The tour itself was very good. I was taken to all of the sights and given some great insight on history and culture. I was taken to a local lunch spot which had incredible food and this enhanced the experience very much. Hany is a great tour operator and excellent driver. This was the most amazing experience and super easy and relaxing. Definitely recommend this to anyone!

The Driver was awsome, as were the snacks he prepared However the guide was not private, he was speaking to at least 15 people and the time was very short 20 minute total The experience was ok all in all, but not worth the price, book a cheaper tour

Driver Honi picked us up at 4.00 AM to go to Abu Simbel. He is very friendly and we had a nice chat. Then we had some time to sleep in the car, because it is a long ride (3,5 hr each way). We stopped at a cafeteria in the desert to have some tea and coffee and use the bathroom. At Abu Simbel, he introduced us to the local guide. He explained a lot about Abu Simbel and what to see. Guides can't enter the tombs, so we went on our own. It was incredible to see. We spend about 2 hours at Abu Simblel before going back to Aswan.

A one in a million tour

The temples at Abu Simbel are breathtaking. A must visit when in Egypt. Our driver Hani was outstanding as a driver and as a host. He made the long round trip Aswan a pleasure explaining sites along the way and Egyptian life. If hiring a driver, Hani is the top choice. Also our guide Mina is a true professional. The two make a first rate team.

We were collected at the hotel by a clean and spacious van for the group of four. We did the Abu simbal and the temple of Philae in a day. The driver was very courteous and the guide for the part of Abu Simbal trip was just ok. We didn't have Michael as our guide for Abu Simbal part as he wasn't available. But we were very happy to have Michael for the Temple of Philae part. What a difference that made. He is a great story teller and a historian. He is so passionate of what he does and hes is very good at it. Book early so he can guide , educate and have you see places through Egyptian history. He is worth every penny and more.

Great Road Trip with Hani

I had a great road trip with Hani who made me feel extremely comfortable and safe the entire time. He bought me SO MANY SNACKS! I couldn't even finish them all! It is a long day so it helps to have someone you can have great conversations with and Hani was great to talk to and even took pictures of me in the desert and showed me the reflection of the water called the mirage in the desert etc. Michael was great to communicate as well with too. The guide I met at Abu Simbel was Tiger- he was knowledgeable the only thing I found off was that I got only 25/30 mins with him as he didn't go in the temples with me. It's not allowed. So, I feel this isn't really a guided tour. Would have liked to learn more. I was then given 40 mins in the Abu Simbel Temple and 20 in the Nefertiti one. The other thing is the single supplement is a factor- solo person has to pay double the price for going because I am alone so I feel it's unfair. Because of Hani being amazing I am giving 5 stars! Thanks Hani!

Amazing history of construction, discovery and préservation. Michael our guide is great. Very knowledable. Unfortunately snacks provided very limited in choice... not fault of guide, just limited availability in location. Good drivers.

I strongly recommend this tour with Mike to Abu Simbel. A private tour experience allowed for us to go at our own pace and have individualized attention from our guide. We are lucky to have Mike since he is very knowledgeable, kind, and charismatic. He made this experience both informative and fun. Mike goes above and beyond to provide an excellent experience and even helped us out with our plans. He also has amazing photography skills and made us feel very comfortable and safe. L'excursion poir Abou Simbel vaut vraiment la peine, même si c'est loin d'Assouan. Les temples sont gigantesques. Notre chauffeur conduisait prudemment. Nous avons eu un snack et des boissons. Notre guide français était sympa. Explications un peu rapides peut-être... Nous sommes très contents de notre journée. Notre chauffeur nous a emmenés au temple de Philae, moyennant un petit supplément... Top @!!

Il nostro driver Hani è venuto direttamente in aeroporto a prenderci ed è stato sempre disponibile (anche quando il suo lavoro era già finito, aiutandoci in una situazione sgradevole). Arrivati al sito abbiamo incontrato la guida che secondo la nostra opinione, ahinoi, non era molto preparata siccome era indecisa su diverse informazioni. La visita dei templi però è andata molto bene, entrambi stupendi. In generale questo tour è un'ottima opzione per visitare Abu Simbel alloggiando ad Aswan

C'est loin d'Assouan ( environ 3h30) mais même après avoir visité pleins de temples ils en valent la peine! C'est bien organisé. Et notre guide en français nous attendait là bas. Il nous a bien expliqué les choses!
