Andy was a great guide on his last day of the season. We paddled just a short way from the canoe club and were very lucky to experience an Elk on the left hand bank, who entered the water and crossed the river in front of our boat - great to see that so soon after beginning a lovely, calm and gentle paddle up the river, filled with great stories and information on tap form Andy, who was very willing and eager to answer every and all questions. A thoroughly enjoyable trip with a great guide. Thank you Andy!

This was the most beautiful relaxing choice to be on the Bow River. Our guide did a great job in guiding our canoe and we were able to relax and soak up the sun and the scenery. They were very efficient and safety conscious. We would recommend this experience. One of my favorite things we did.

Our wildlife Canoe guide is very knowledgeable and friendly. She took us on an amazing trip. During the way back, she told us to stop paddling and just listen to the sound around us. At that moment, we feel nothing but joy and peace. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone.

Our tour guide Andrew was awesome. He had lots of stories to share about the Rocky Mountains and wildlife in area. Everyone enjoyed the easy paddle. Scenery was incredible and loved the view from the lake. Nice change from hiking. We added this 1.5 hour trip on Bow River to our downtown shopping in Banff and Lake Minnewanka hike.

Had a great time on my canoe tour. Our guide Ramsey was knowledgeable, funny and helpful. We paddled about 2km upstream. I am not an experienced boater so needed to take breaks from paddling and that was fine. We coasted with the current most if the way back. The views were delightful. Saw Elk grazing along the river. Life vests and paddles were provided. The launch site was very convenient to the downtown Banff area. Would highly recommend this tour.

Fun and Full Canoe Experience!

OMG this was so much fun! My family and I booked this short big canoe ride and it was so worth it. It lasted about 2 hours and we got the full canoeing experience. Going up Bow River, we had to paddle a bit as we were going against the wind. All along the way, we saw beautiful ice-blu water, beaver dams, opsrey nests, learned about the mountains and history of Banff. Coming back down river, the wind was at our backs, which allowed us to coast along without much paddling at all. MAX was an AMAZING tour operator. He was highly knowledgeable, chill, safe and funny. We highly recommend this tour!
