Schwimmen auf dem Fluss in der Höhle / Ziplining

Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Der einzige Nachteil war all die Kilometer, die wir auf einem Schotterweg zurücklegen mussten, und ganz zu schweigen von der Überquerung von drei Flüssen, um Schläuche zu höhlen und steile Treppen zur Seilrutsche zu steigen. Die Erfahrung an sich war berauschend! Ivar war unglaublich. Er zog uns alle fünf durch den Fluss in der Höhle und informierte uns über die Formation. Die Insel ist definitiv in Armut und hat uns gefragt, wie glücklich wir sind. Die Erfahrung war gut.

Wunderbare Höhlenschläuche nicht gute extreme Seilrutsche

Unser Führer war sehr kompetent. Super freundlich und er hat unsere Erfahrung wunderbar gemacht. Ich habe zwei Aktivitäten gemacht, die extreme Seilrutsche und den Schlauch. Der Schlauch war phänomenal, aber extreme Reißverschlüsse sollten mit Schläuchen kombiniert werden. Weil es kurz ist. Noch schöner ist die Seilrutsche, die im Schlauch zum Fluss führt.

This was an awesome experience. The water was clear and cold (refreshing in their words). I enjoyed the tubing through the caves and the different scenery. The zipline was fun and it was warm walking and zipping through the jungle.

A Really Fun Time!

We were glad we did the ziplines first since there is a lot of climbing uphill, but we made it. Each of the five lines was a little more fun, and after the third I even started to look around and enjoy the views instead of just concentrating on hanging on, and braking only at the end (the first run we all braked too much and came up short of the platform, but they hauled us in) The Cave tubing was cool, also literally. After carrying our gear for 30 minutes and wading across the river three times, which helped keep us cool, we reached the caves. They tied all 12 rafts together, we hopped in and off we floated. There was a little three foot waterfall that we passed and the guide made sure we all got soaked. Lots of fun. It would have been nice to be able to take a few pictures while rafting but we didn't bring a camera. One guy in our group had a (phone) camera in a bag but the pictures were distorted by the bag. he took his camera out , took some pics then put it back for protection. We came out of the caves into the rain forest (it was raining), how neat. We drifted for 10-15 minutes back to our starting point, just relaxing. Quite a day!

Cave Tubing and Zip Line

Our tour guides were amazing both on the zip line and the cave tubing, I was worried the water would be chilly but it was refreshing, we did have to walk a bit and carrying our tubes to the area up the river where we would begin our tubing experience. The zipline tours made us feel safe and comfortable at all times, this was my first and only time ziplining off the bucket list. Also the ride from the port where the ships dock to the jungle area was a hour ride each way.

Buyer beware. Although tour advertisement suggests participants ride a series of seven zip-lines, tour includes only three. Cave-tubing ride is interesting, but short and consists of 8 tubes tied together being pulled through the cave by a tour guide. That said, leaving riders on their own would likely result in considerable damage to the sight.

Not Allowed to Purchase ZipRider Photos nor Use Restoom and Ate on the Bus

The rainforest was absolutely beautiful. Cave tubing and the ZipRider was very exciting. Tour guide Joey was friendly and knowledgable. Milton's knowledge of the rainforest and caves was a science lesson any student would love.This was the most aniticpated excursion of our annual Girl's Trip. Nevertheless, we were grealty disappointed! We were rushed during every aspect of the adventure. We were not able to throughly enjoy the experience because we were rushed. We departed the port late because we had to wait on cruise guests. We rushed to return because cruise guests had to be back on the ship. We were given less than 5 minutes to return to the bus to get money to tip the cave tubing guides, change out of wet swimsuits, spray for bugs and put on shoes suitable for walking in the jungle for the Zip lining. We only had time to tip the guides. No sunscreen added, no bug spray applied, no changing out of wet clothes. I had to run walk and put on my shoes. Then, we only zipped 4 of the 7 lines. Photographer took our photos in air on our last line and a group photo, but we were not allowed to see nor purchase the photos, We had to literally walk straight through the butterfly house. The tour guide stood with the door open, telling me we did not have time to take pictures because we had to leave. No time to use the restroom. The driver insured us our belongins would be safe. We returned to a hot bus with no driver. To make matters worst, we had to eat our BBQ lunch on the bus holding the food container in our laps, fork in one hand, drink in the other hand with no napkins. Spilling drink and food as the bus travelled down the bumpy road. All very frustrating. Cruise guests should not be grouped with land guests that are not imposed with a time limit. An addtional hour should be added to this excursion. We really wanted the pictures for our scrapbooks. Unfortunaley, we exited the air-conditioned vehicle feeling deceived and disappointed.

Don't second guess and don't buy from cruise ship. Save money and do exact same thing with these folks.

Tour was fantastic and catered to our specific ship times. Keep in mind ALL tours for this type adventure go to the same spot. It is about 40 min from port. They pick you up just outside the port gate and transport you in an air conditioned van. The van is in good shape. Tour guide was awesome and well informed about Belize and how it compares to the US. We started with tubing then rolled right into zip line. Because of need to get back to ship, we did 4 of 6 zip lines. Once complete, we jumped into the van where our tour guide had lunch ready to go for our drive back to the ship. Timing was tight but Carnival did a great job of flexing a few mins to wait for us and other late returning tours. THANKS CARNIVAL! Would use this same service again and again.

We booked this tour through Viator and we couldn’t have been happier. We met out guide Joel outside of the ship terminal and he and Frank took us via a bus to the national park. Along the way Joel shared all sorts of information and made the ride go quick. We got to the park and got our life vests, helmets and lights and took a short hike to the cave entrance. These caves are awesome and unlike anything I have ever seen. To be able to float through them was really cool. After the river and caves we went zip lining and the guides were very friendly and safe. We all had a great time zipping through the jungle. The lunch was small, but fine and we all ended up falling asleep on the bus ride back to the ship. Thanks for the great tour and we would highly recommend this!

Our tour guide Joel was excellent and very knowledgeable about the jungle plants and animals. The zip lining was ok and was only a few zip lines, but fun non the less. The cave tubing was great and our guide was very helpful in showing us all the interesting points in the caves. The water was very clear and a great way to cool off in the jungle. I give this a five star rating due to our excellent guide.

Depart time was supposed to be 8:30am local time. Our party of 4 was there on time. We waited over an hour and a half for the remaining people to join our tour. As we were walking away the rest of the people finally showed up.. the guy was on CRUTCHES. How could he have done this excursion on crutches? In fear that (1) we wouldn’t be able to make it back in back in time to board in time (since we had to taxi to and from the ship and the drive was over an hour each way) and (2) we would be rushed through and not enjoy our experience we had to sadly not take this tour. We will be asking for a full refund!

If you are looking for something different to do, see and experience this is perfect! The cave tubing was so much fun. Water was cool and crisp. Our guide had so much knowledge. It is quite a hike to the entrance so be prepared for that and to carry your gear. But it's worth it.

I would actually give this a 3.5, but that wasn't an option. The tour guide was at the port immediately and it was easy to locate him, but after we found him, we sat for almost an hour before the bus left for the actual tubing area. Another couple that was on the tour with us had been there 45 minutes before that, so waited and hour and 45 minutes. Another family of 4 was suppose to have joined us, and we ended up waiting for them for that whole time. They never showed. I understand that we didn't want to just leave them, but a more specific time should probably been set and then if you don't show, we wait 15 minutes or something before leaving. It would have been nice to enjoy the area for that hour instead of sitting on a bus the whole time. The drive to the excursion was interesting. We were able to see the area on the hour drive and the tour guide told us some very interesting information about Belize. Once we got to the excursion, we were able to change in clean bathrooms and then hiked to where the caves were. That was fun. It was quite pretty and we had to wade through a shallow area of the river in 4 or 5 spots, which was kinda fun. The cave tubing itself was cool, and the guide told us some things about the caves, but when we got to lunch, we had to practically inhale our food so that we could zip line and get back to the ship on time. The zip line part of the excursion was rather disappointing compared to the experience we had the day before. It was also very rushed and I did not feel nearly as safe. There was one person on each platform and they would just say next and send you to the next platform. They did not stay with you and barely even talked to you. The equipment was wet and smelled bad. The area was very pretty, and the sights were nice, but the ziplining was very impersonal. It wasn't a bad excursion, but it wasn't amazing either.
