Thank you for taking the time to provide your review. I'm sorry to learn that the aspect that had the most negative impact on your tour experience was the timing. Unfortunately, it's important to note that the timing issues were, to a large extent, influenced by your party.
I'd like to clarify that the tour did not start an hour late, as there were multiple attempts to communicate with you through text messages, phone calls, and WhatsApp. For instance, at 8:06, you were provided with clear instructions for a straightforward 3-minute walk down the road. Despite our efforts to simplify the directions, it became necessary for a guide to assist you in walking to the bus, which regrettably led to a delay. We departed the cruise area after 8:45, instead of the planned 8:35.
The timing issues persisted throughout the tour, with your group's pace causing delays at each stop. While this pace could work well for a private tour, it presented difficulties in a group setting.
The total delays significantly affected the overall experience, leading us to shorten the last two stops to ensure we returned to Bergen on time.
Also, I want to mention a situation where one of your group members started smoking during our final stop, even though most passengers had already gotten back on the bus. It took multiple requests before he finally put out the cigarette and finally rejoined the group.
Despite the challenges faced, I'm pleased to report that we managed to visit all scheduled stops and even arrived nearly an hour before the cruise ship's "all on board" call.
Had the designated timings been adhered to, you and all passengers could have enjoyed an additional 45 minutes to explore Bergen.
Regarding the issue of air conditioning, I understand that it was a hot day. We did inform you that the bus would require a few minutes at each stop to adequately cool down. However, during the first stop, which was a mere 5-minute ride, this cooling period proved insufficient.
