      Kleiner Bootshafen von Honokohau. Wenn Sie vom Highway 19 kommen, biegen Sie auf dem Kealakehe Pkwy nach Westen in Richtung Meer ab. Nehmen Sie die erste Rechtskurve, um auf die Nordseite des Hafens zu gelangen. Folgen Sie der Straße bis zu einem großen unbefestigten Parkplatz. Parken Sie in der Nähe des Kona Sailing Club.

    Wir haben ca. 10-12 Mantas gesehen, es war ein unglaubliches Erlebnis. Die Mantas kamen so nah, dass Sie einen berührten.

    Amazing experience! Professional crew, went very smoothly. The only thing I would have liked was more facts and info about the manta rays while we were in the water- it was hard to ask questions with the snorkels so it would have been nice to listen to cool facts about them.

    This was such a cool experience! I booked this for a group of 5 of us, and it was great to have the whole boat to ourselves. The 6 passenger max is a huge perk of this company. Our captain was Corey, and our guide in the water was Johnny. Both were friendly and knowledgeable, and we were lucky enough to see three different mantas during our water time. It’s a bit daunting getting into the water at dark, but if you’re nervous, I’d suggest booking a time around sunset so that there’s a bit of light out right when you’re getting in the water. Definitely would recommend Snorkel Big Island to everyone!

    Dylan and Cory were great for our night snorkel. Cory was an excellent guide, giving us lots of interesting info about the rays and paddling us around to ensure we had the best experience. Some of the very large groups in the same area surely didn't have the same great time we had in our small, intimate group of 6. Would recommend 10x over!

    Captain Dylan and Cory were great. Went out on a small inflatable boat, very bumpy ride so prob not good if you get sea sick. Saw several mantas. They got so close to us. Some dolphins swam under us also. Great experience. Have to have a little patience for the mantas to show up.

    Although I got a full refund thanks to Viator customer service, it was awful experience. First, the weather was not good for the tour because the ocean was very bumpy. We had to sit on the side of the boat and hang tight with both hands , so we wouldn’t fall off the boat for 30 minutes of the ride which was very frustrating and physically exhausting. Second , the captain Dylan and his helper Johnny were not very talkative and we didn’t feel as we on a GUIDED tour. Third, there were no manta rays, it was VERY cold and windy. Then on top of everything, it started to rain…Me and my daughter were on the edge of hypothermia but the captain seemed had no interest in what we were feeling. Have to say that the boat was small and had only one box (for six people!) where we could barely fit our slippers and towels. No room for dry clothes or so. I just prayed on the way back to get home safely, have a hot shower and hot tea. I would definitely NOT recommend this tour operator especially for the families with kids. This is probably “the tough guys tour”. My recommendation: book a big boat tour where you’ll have plenty of space for dry towels, clothes, hot tea and snacks provided , a nice guide and care about their clients.

    I would recommend this tour to anyone who comes to the island. It was so cool. The manta ray Gaby swam within an inch or two of my arms at the surface and once she even touched me. She was def trying to put on a show for us. The Capt and tour guy were awesome as well. These manta rays were big and majestic.

    Incredible experience!! Seeing these giant, docile beauties up so close was a definite highlight of our trip. It was about a 35 minute boat ride for our excursion and the way out there was pretty choppy- so if you get seasickness take something beforehand! We were one of the last boats out (9:20pm) and to guarantee we could see these giant Manta Rays, we had to go to a different location. It was a huge success! *Also, be prepared to have tons of little tiny crabs crawling all over you during this excursion. I think it might have been because we were the only boat out there, but there were so many! They are teeny tiny and pretty harmless but they can bite.

    It was an epic experience of a lifetime. The captain Jon and staff were very friendly, helpful, and made us feel safe. One of the Mantas came right in front of me a couple of times; it almost felt like it wanted to play with me. The staff gave me specific instructions not to touch the Mantas, so I tried hard not to bother them, but instead, the Mantas touched my arms and belly a few times. You can do it easily even without any snorkeling or diving experience.

    The was Manta Ray party down there. We saw at least 6 of them they were very close you could see entire thing. Captain Dylan did a great job taking us to the place and back, big thanks to Elias for guiding us in the water, he is very knowledgeable, informative and attentive. It was hard to find the meeting point. The parking lot is very dark, we arrived on time but the boat was running behind nobody let us know, I tried to call and text the support numbers but nobody answered for 20 minutes. I would definitely recommend the company to try and keep clients informed of delays so we don’t wonder if we are in the right place. Other than that it was fabulous, one in the lifetime experience recommend to anyone!

    Captain John and Eli took my wife and I out for the 2130 run. My wife thought it was a bit late to go out but after being there, basically just our group, with the Mantas she changed her mind and would not go at any other time in the future. We saw roughly 8-10 mantas, Eli could name them all (the mantas have a fan website) and he gave us a history, biology, environmental college style lecture while we were in the water with him. The mantas were incredibly friendly and literally swam within inches of us, Geeta was especially friendly and rubbed against my stomach with her fins a few times. Alexa was putting on a show and did several barrel rolls in the videos I took. I would 10/10 suggest going on this tour again and the next time my wife and I come back we will be going out with Eli and Cpt. John again. Thank you for the excellent times and great adventure!

    A must do experience. Loved the small group and our boat was the first out to the Manta Rays! There were probably six Manta Rays immediately.

    Incredible experience. Small group. The captain and the guide were absolute professionals. The boat ride was so fun. Felt like a navy seal. Our in water guide I forgot his name was absolutely amazing. He knew the name of all the manta rays, and the characteristics of each one. He knew exactly where to position us. We were in the water for over 30 minutes. Had about 30 sightings of mantis. They literally swim 1 cm from our face. Amazingly, tranquil and calm. Definitely a bucket list trip I would do again with this group.
