I’m sorry the tour did not meet your expectations. The PhotoWalks Freedom Trail tour consistently receives 5-star reviews. It has the most historical commentary out of all of my tours. I do not over-explain the details of the important events in American history. I focus on providing relevant, compelling commentary that is truthful and dispels the myths that have distorted the "facts" about early American history. My commentaries are thorough and well-researched. Some of the major points that were covered were: 1) The events that unfolded on April 18, 1775 that led to the American Revolution 2) Paul Revere's pivotal role on the eve of the Revolution 3) The inaccuracies in the poem of the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere 4) Trivia facts that are not well-known about John Hancock, Ben Franklin and Samuel Adams 5) Accurate facts about the night of the Boston Tea Party 6) What really happened on the night of the Boston Massacre 7) The accurate date of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the famous Revolutionaries that didn’t sign it. 8) The importance of the Treaty of Paris There was plenty of historical information. At the beginning of the tour, I mentioned that questions are encouraged. I would’ve been glad to provide supplementary details if you wanted to learn more about something specific. We saw 11 out of 16 sites on the Freedom Trail. Again, I mentioned that we would see most of the sites. It’s not possible to explore all 16 sites on a 90-minute tour nor does it state that in the description of the tour experience. I work very hard to distinguish my tours from the rest. PhotoWalks is the only provider of walking tours in Boston that includes insightful historical commentary and photo tips where your pictures become souvenirs. I'm sorry this was not the experience you wanted.

Wir haben diese Reise speziell gebucht, weil klar angegeben war, dass die Gruppengröße maximal 10 Personen beträgt. Unsere Gruppe hatte 21 Personen. Als ich danach fragte, sagte der Besitzer: "Nun, es ist ein Feiertagswochenende". Der Kleingruppenteil dieser Tour gilt nur, wenn sie nicht mehr als 10 Tickets verkaufen können - (Columbus Day Weekend) gibt es bessere Touren mit weniger Personen zu einem günstigeren Preis

Mark, I am really sorry that a group size affected your tour experience. If you noticed other groups around us(the costumed guides), they had many more people and often have the largest groups of well over 20 people. Our tour went smoothly, the group was attentive and listened to my commentary throughout the walk. No one said that they couldn't hear me. I answered any questions you had that wasn't covered in the commentary. This tour didn't meet your expectations from the beginning due to group size, yet you stayed the entire time. I work very hard and do my best to provide the best walking tours possible in Boston. Almost 100% of the reviews for my Freedom Trail tour are 5-stars. And, nearly 100% of the time my tours have less than 20 people for a more personalized experience. Again, please accept my sincere apologies. A refund has been processed as a gesture of good will.

Tolle Tour! Saba war ein entzückender Führer. Jeden Cent wert! Sie zeigte uns nicht nur tolle Tipps zum Fotografieren an verschiedenen Orten, sondern war auch voller wertvoller Informationen über die Stadt und ihre unglaubliche Geschichte. Wir haben so viel über die Stadt gelernt und hatten auch viel Spaß. Da wir eine kleine Tour waren, war Saba sehr flexibel, um die Tour unseren Interessen anzupassen.
