Laura!
I am glad that you found our tour to be fun and interesting.
I am sorry that you thought that we needed more history and information; I wished that you had spoken up.
As to price point, we are the least expensive of all guided ebike tours in Boulder. I did enjoy touring with your group! Please come and tour with us "for free" anytime in the future, and we will be sure to include more history- we did talk about us being the "Centennial State", Denver being our Capital, the mile high city, we mentioned our state flower, our state song, our state flower, etc. . Then we talked about the population of Boulder and the influx of students attending the University. I mentioned how liberal Boulder is while discussing Bill and Hilary Clinton, We stopped at the Football Stadium where I presented the tuition cost and all of our Nobel Laureates, and the Pac 12 and our record, and about our "Ralphie" tradition! I then led us to Fiske Planetarium and spoke about the great laser star show and who donated the funds to build it, and I pointed out how many astronauts graduated from CU. I'm sure that I mentioned our the "open to the public" free admission to the Observatory. We then ebiked to Chautauqua where we saw the beautiful concert hall built in 1898 and then went to the Flatirons where I explained about what goes on there now and what happened in the past. Do you remember the two historical events that we spoke about at "the Sink"? We then ventured along Boulder Creek and stopped at Boulder's Beach where I mentioned the source of the water, and pointed to where and when we discovered "Gold" and spoke about our tube to work day. Do you remember the history of the Hotel Boulderado or the facts behind the Dushanbe Tea House being built in Tajikistan, etc. ? I tried to keep my 10 "talks" brief so my guests could ebike more than stand around listening to me. I wish that I had satisfied your desires to learn more about our beautiful town. Please come again!
Thank you for your feedback.
