Freundlicher und informativer Guide, aber...

Der Tourguide war freundlich und hat uns viele Informationen zur Geschichte gegeben. Dafür (fast) 5 Sterne. Unerfreulich war an der Tour: 1) Nach Abschluss der Buchung wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es keinen verfügbaren deutschsprachigen Führer gäbe. Zu dem Zeitpunkt war die Tour schon bezahlt. In der Beschreibung steht, dass neben anderen Sprachen auch Deutsch angeboten wird. Wir wurden per Sprachnachricht gefragt, ob Englisch ok sei. Damit die Tour überhaupt stattfinden kann, haben wir zugestimmt, da sich mein Sohn sehr darauf gefreur hatte. Für meinen Sohn, 8, jedoch sehr unglücklich, da er kein Englisch spricht. 2) Es wurden während der Buchung verschiedene mögliche Starttermine angezeigt. Wir entscheiden uns für 11 Uhr. Direkt nach Abschluss der Buchung (und Bezahlung!!) kam eine Textnachricht, dass 11 Uhr nicht zu schaffen sei und man sich bemühe, jemanden bis 11.30 Uhr zu schicken. Es ging dann um 11.40 Uhr los. Nicht tragisch, aber etwas ärgerlich, vor allem für meinen kleinen Sohn, der ungeduldig wurde und weitere 40 min. warten musste, bevor es losging. 3) Nach dem Besuch der Pyramiden und Sphinx wurden wir noch zu einem "Papyrusinstitut" und einem Duftölhersteller gefahren, obwohl dies NICHT in der Tourbeschreibung stand. Reine Verkaufsveranstaltungen!!! Vermutlich bekommen die Guides Provisionen, wenn sie die Touristen hier abliefern. Wir hatten jedoch nicht die Absicht etwas zu kaufen. Das führt bei solchen Veranstaltungen zu unangenehmen und peinlichen Situationen. Wir haben uns dann veranlasst gesehen, auch hier Trinkgelder zu geben. Vor allen Dingen ging die Zeit von der eigentlichen Besichtigung der Sehenswürdigkeiten ab. Ich hatte, das Gefühl, dass man uns am Schluss etwas angetrieben hat, um uns in der gebuchten Zeit noch zu den oben genannten Verkaufsveranstaltungen zu bringen. Aus den genannten Gründen habe ich Sterne abgezogen.

Sie buchen 10:30 Uhr, Sie wollen mein Team um 11:00 Uhr arrangieren, wir werden nicht fliegen, wir wohnen nicht in der Nähe Ihres Hotels. Ich bat um eine Stunde, ich schickte Auto, Fahrer und Führer, sagte Ihnen, dass alle deutschen Führer beschäftigt sind, Sie möchten eine Tour auf Englisch, ok, Sie möchten eine Rückerstattung, ok, Sie sagten, Englisch ist ok, seien Sie fair mit sich selbst und seien Sie glücklich Danke

Die ersten zwei Stunden der Tour waren großartig! Unsere Reiseleiterin war freundlich und hat tolle Fotos für uns gemacht! Dann führte er uns an Orte, von denen wir nicht wussten, dass sie „inklusive“ waren. ” Darunter ein Papyrus-Geschäft sowie ein Parfümgeschäft. Obwohl es interessant war, etwas über diese zu erfahren, schien es sehr, als würden wir gezwungen, die Produkte des Ladens zu kaufen. Als wir ablehnten, wurden wir schnell aus den Läden gedrängt. Das Schlimmste war, als unser Fahrer einen kleinen Unfall hatte (kleiner 2-Zoll-Kratzer am Spiegel). Dann setzte er das Leben meiner schwangeren Frau und mir aufs Spiel, indem er mit 100 Meilen pro Stunde durch die Straßen jagte und versuchte, den Lastwagen einzuholen, den er angefahren hatte. Ich bat ihn mehrmals, anzuhalten, aber er fuhr in den Verkehr hinein und aus ihm heraus und weigerte sich, anzuhalten. Nach 10 Minuten dieser schrecklichen Erfahrung schnappte er sich den Truck und ließ uns 30 Minuten lang mitten im Nirgendwo im Auto sitzen. Er kam dann zurück und sagte „Sie sollten einfach ein Uber anrufen“ und verließ uns wieder. Wir mussten dann anderthalb Stunden mit Uber zurück zum Ausgangspunkt fahren und unsere Tour um eine Stunde kürzen und ohne das versprochene Mittagessen.

Wir haben diese private Tour so aufgeregt gebucht, aber am Ende waren wir zu 100 % enttäuscht. In der Beschreibung war die Tour ca. 4 Stunden. Die Tour war nach 2 Stunden geschafft. Wir starteten um 8:10 Uhr morgens und waren um 10:15 Uhr zurück im Hotel. Die Reiseleiterin (Manar genannt) schaute mehr als oft auf ihre Uhr, was uns sehr unangenehm war. Sie machte Fotos von uns und als wir versuchten, unsere eigenen Fotos zu machen, schien sie nicht sehr glücklich zu sein, da sie sich beeilte. Selbst als sie uns die Geschichte der Pyramiden erklärte, sprach sie so schnell, dass wir uns kaum auf sie konzentrieren konnten. Ich versuchte, die Aussicht zu genießen, aber die Führerin war immer ein paar Meter von uns entfernt und sah uns an, also folgten wir ihr. Wir haben die Tour nicht genossen und wenn ich die Zeit zurückdrehen könnte, hätte ich sie nicht gebucht, stattdessen würden wir ohne Guide gehen. Absolut NICHT zu empfehlen.

Had a great time. Felt safe the whole time. Went to pyramids and then went to some local shops. She took incredible photos of us! Lunch is pretty simple, but authentic Egyptian cuisine and very good! 10/10

Extremely terrible tour

The first destination that the guide takes me to is a papyrus shop which is not included in the tour program. After that, she took me to the Giza pyramids. I spent about 10 minutes there and the guide only asks me to take a selfie with her. We left the Giza pyramids, she took me to the panoramic viewpoint. After that I booked a camel ride for 45 minutes, but actually I rode for less than 20 minutes to the Sphinx, she didn't even show me the Sphinx. Any of which I have reserved the program for lunch, but during the Ramadan, the restaurant was closed during the day, so she bought Farafle for me to eat in the car on the way back to the hotel. Before reaching the hotel, she told me to write a good review for her so she can get another work from the office on the next day

thankyou for review for shopping it was optional and ur partner asked the guide to watch how to make first paper n all mankind ,thats something related to history , for camel ride as you said you rpode till sphinx from panorma til lpsinx 3 km so how come in 20 min , please check your whatch , it should e 45 min to one hour ,no way 20min for 3 km. for unch it is koshry but in Ramadan it is closed ,so we got for you falafel sandwich as all restaurant close , koshry and falafel almost the same as veg food be happy and enjoy your day
Heavily depends on the tour guide so watch out.

if you are booking a tour and would actually like to know some information I suggest looking elsewhere because the guide did the bare minimum and didn’t even take us near the pyramids. we did not tell us anything about the sphinx. the camel ride was super worth it and made this tour not a complete disaster. the camel ride guides are super professional but the guide provided by this tour was the worst. please check more reviews and if you have the option, book something else.

Giza was great! I highly recommend you go first thing in the morning to beat the crowds (and the heat). I went at 7am and it was great - not crowded and not too hot yet. They add on a lot of other stores along the way to encourage you to buy things (fabrics, papyrus, oils), but if you don’t want to do those then just tell the driver to skip them.

Fell off camel! Don’t do it!

While the guide was friendly and informative, and the driver was great, when it was time for the camel ride they took me to someone who didn’t know who he was doing. He told the camel to stand up before I was on, and I fell off the camel from 20 feet in the air and seriously injured my leg. It ruined the rest of my vacation, and we had to return home without seeing much of anything in Egypt and had to cancel the second leg of our trip to Cairo, losing thousands of dollars in pre-paid bookings.

Spectacular tour. Our guide (Ahmed) was very accommodating and knowledgeable on the history of the pyramids. He made our experience memorable. The pictures he took for us were also brilliant. I highly recommend this tour for anybody wanting to visit the pyramids for the first time.
