es hat alles perfekt geklappt - die Tour hat deswegen 4 Stunden gedauert, da wir etwas außerhalb von Cairo gewohnt haben - sonst wäre sie kürzer gewesen - unser deutschsprachiger Tourguide hatte perfektes Wissen - das einzige, warum wir nur 4 Sterne geben: bereits Tage vor der Tour, am Abend vor der Tour wurde mehrmals nachgefragt, ob wir nicht noch andere Touren oder auch Flughafen-Transfere buchen möchten - mehrmals wurde dies verneint - auch am Ende der Tour wurde nochmals nachgefragt, ob wir nicht einen Flughafentransfer benötigen .... das wirkte aufdringlich! Ein Fahrt zu einer Parfum-Fabrik und Papyrus-Fabrik wurde auch angeboten, aber dies während der Rückfahrt und dies freundlich - nicht aufdringlich!

Interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten, hätte aber besser sein können

Die beiden Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten – die Zitadelle und die hängende Kirche – waren beide interessant, obwohl unser Führer weiterging und wir versuchen mussten, ihn im Auge zu behalten. Wir sind nicht nach Khan el-Khalili gefahren. Es war vereinbart, dass der Fahrer uns zum Flughafen bringt, und er war großartig! Unterwegs fand er für uns ein Hole-in-the-Wall lokales Restaurant zum Mittagessen mit ausgezeichnetem Essen.

SCHÖNE TOUR

Die Reiseleiterin Abla (hoffe, das ist die richtige Schreibweise) und der Fahrer waren großartig. Sie kamen pünktlich an, um mich (morgens) im Hotel abzuholen. Die erste Station war die Islamische Moschee (Museum). Schöne Moschee; hatte einen Panoramablick auf Kairo vom Aussichtspunkt neben der Moschee; habe ein paar Fotos gemacht. Danach besuchten wir einige Kirchen, andere Gotteshäuser und einen Basar/Souk. Insgesamt war die Tour schön, aber leider sind uns Menschen begegnet, die keinen Respekt (ziemlich unhöflich) gegenüber Außenstehenden / Touristen zeigten. Ich habe mich dort nicht willkommen gefühlt. Schade. . . Deshalb habe ich dieser Tour nur 4 Sterne gegeben, obwohl der Guide (sehr kompetent) und der Fahrer großartig waren.

Dies war eine großartige Tour! Wir haben die Alebaster (Ali Mohammed) Moschee und zwei koptische Kirchen besucht: die hängende Kirche und die Höhlenkirche. Wir hatten einen wirklich großartigen Führer, der uns Einblick in die mittelalterliche Geschichte Ägyptens und Kairos und in die Geschichte dieser Denkmäler gab. Wenn Sie Kairo besuchen, ist dies wirklich ein Muss!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne kurze Tour für ca. 3 Stunden mit Ehab Mehana. Er war ein sehr sachkundiger Führer, freundlich und kümmerte sich auf unserer Tour um uns. Diese Tour war genau das, wonach wir von der Citadel & Coptic Cairo aus gesucht haben. Unser Fahrer war Kareem. Danke!

What a great tour! I really recommend taking this tour! Our tour guide Abla was not only knowledgeable and super nice but a great photographer. We had an amazing time doing this tour. We got to see amazing places and we learned a lot of history of Cairo in one day.
Great way to ease into Egypt

Our guide was waiting for us at our hotel at the appointed time. Over the half day(actually more) we experienced the citadel and mosque, a tour through the Coptic quarter, visits to a fragrance factory, a papyrus factory, jewelry, and an alabaster shop in the old Khan Kahlilj market. A lunch in a restaurant other banks of the Nile was also included. This was a great q way for us to get acquainted with Egypt before we began a guided tour there. Our guide spike excellent English, and he was charming and engaging -- and knowledgeable. The car was well kept, and a driver was included.

I had a great tour of the holy sites and of Cairo. My tour guide, Alba Saif, was great. She was very knowledgeable about the Coptic and Islamic areas. She even educated me on local Cairo, and we went to local Cairo merchants and was able to support them. I had an excellent time with Alba!

Our short tour with guide Abla Saif and driver Mohamed was an efficient way to see the top historical attractions in Cairo city. Our guide was knowledgeable about the sites and explained the key points well. We also had an extra Felucca ride on the Nile arranged by the company for an extra fee, which was very pleasant and enjoyable.

Fabulous half day tour of Cairo

Great tour for anyone who wants to get a little deeper into Cairo than the pyramids and the Egyptian museum. Our guide Ehab and driver Assem were both helpful and informative. Very professional but also friendly and personable. Saw the Citadel, Alabaster Mosque, churches of Coptic Cairo, and different types of shops and markets. It was a perfect tour for our “extra day” in Cairo. Blessings to Eham and Assem!!

Could have been amazing

Our tour guide was less than happy giving us the tour, rushing through the day and by and large, making us uncomfortable. I traveled alone on this experience with two of my children, and the guide seemed less than thrilled alone with a woman and children. He rushed ahead of me, taking one child out of sight. His facts were not correct, aside from the mosque. He started a loud call to prayer in the mosque, resulting in all eyes on us, making us even more uncomfortable. Under the right circumstances this would be an incredible tour, but we ended it with more than half the time remaining and never went to the market. It didn’t seem like a safe decision with this guide.

Guide and driver were very professional and courteous. We had an excellent tour of the mosque and hanging church, and managed to purchase the remainder of our souveniers. If your a Christian and NOT making the trip to Alexandria, I highly recommend visiting the Coptic Church on your visit to Cairo.

Doaa was our guide for this tour and she was excellent! She was very knowledgeable about every site we visited and had a great energy. The tour itself was a nice combination of religious sites, local arts & crafts, and the large market. Definitely recommend this tour and Doaa as your guide!
