Worth the experience! 🤩

Very happy with the entire experience. Ashraf, our guide, texted us the day prior to confirm the pick up time and location. He was on time and was kind enough to wait for a us, as we were few minutes late. The experience included a guide (Ashraf) and the driver, a young guy who’s name I don’t remember unfortunately. They were both very pleasant. We didn’t have breakfast, so they stopped at a kiosk and street bakery so that we could grab something to eat. We went to the pyramids where Ashraf gave us an enormous amount of information, he answered all of our questions and was happy to take a lot of pictures for us, thank you Ashraf! We saw the pyramids, we went on a camel ride and to a spot where you could see all 3 pyramids from afar. The tour was in spanish, which Ashraf spoke perfectly. After the pyramids we went to a place where they show you the papyrus are made and how to differentiate them from the fake ones. Of course the expectation is to buy and so we did, at a bargained price of course, but we regretted it as soon as we got to Luxor. The same size papyrus which we paid 20$ per piece, in Giza Cairo, was priced about 5/6€ per piece in Luxor. This was very shocking to discover, but its alright, I guess its all part of the experience too. The lunch was super delicious at a local restaurant in Giza, the best place we ate at so far! Thank you for the beautiful experience, I definitely recommend 🙏🏻
Rushed Tour

We did the half day tour (guide, driver, no camels). Our guide was Ali. Moved quickly, pretty rushed, gave a basic history. Didn’t seem to have a whole lot of insight beyond the basic history and theories. After the pyramids and sphinx he took us to an oil shop and papyrus shop, where he left us alone with the shop keepers. We felt pressure to purchase things, which was annoying. All and all it was definitely worth it to have a guide and driver to get you through the ticketing and security process, and easy movement from one part of the pyramids to another. But we would’ve appreciated a more in-depth explanation of the history and more time spent at the actual pyramid sites - so use a different company. It was supposed to be a half day tour but the whole thing was over in about 2.5 hours. Our guide was also on his phone a lot, making us feel like we were kind of a nuisance to him.

Hopfully that you would be able to let us know about your comments during your stay in Cairo , unfortionatly your wrote that review when got back home . That is why we contacted your good self Via phone Call to know what happen exactly from the tour guide . After investigation we discoverded that our tour guide did some mistakes and ( He is sorry about that by the way )did not follow our standard during that tour so please accept our apology about that and hopfully to give us another chance when come back to Egypt. Our action : Tour Guide : is not going to work with us for three month to improve his Knowledge and his attitude , then must pass the interview to work with us agin !! * When you come back to Egypt specially you are living in Dubai we offer you a complementry tour in Cairo ( What ever it is ) as a kind of compansation . Your comment is very important to us and really apreciated. It was a well Planned trip but didn’t like when the guide took us different shops without our consent & we were forced to buy stuff as we weren’t prepared for saying No . & the vendors just talk in a way that you feel bad not buying the stuff. Had we known about this before we could just refuse to stop At those vendors . Also don’t think what we bought is even authentic spent around 500$ on stuff we never wanted to buy :(

Concerning to your comment about shopping and after investigation with the tour guide and the chatting with the Operation department we discovered that you did not buy anything with that big amount of Money with us during your tour . it seems you been confused and forgot that you asked us to hire a car to go Shopping and to explore some sights with your own without tour guide !!! and you been informed that we do not provide that type of service for saftey reasonsas all our tours must be with tour guide and you informed us that you will go by Taxi from the hotel !!! Our tour guide, Hadeer, was informative and made our time at the pyramids more special. Having a private guide meant getting the time to look at what we wanted to really customize the experience. Hadeer also helped to ensure we spent the time on the best parts and our private driver meant we always had an air conditioned car ready to bring us to our next stop so we weren’t spending too long in the 100 degree Fahrenheit temperatures. Hadeer also provide us with cold drinks and helped by taking many pictures of us in poses we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. A private tour with Hadeer and the private driver is well worth the cost. Hadeer even saved us money by explaining the insides of the pyramids are basically the same so we chose the smaller one only saving us $900 EGP.

A memorable day at Giza

What more can you say about the pyramids at Giza except … wow. We had a very memorable day there with our guide Gi Gi. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. As it turned out, she was also a great photographer so we have many photographic memories. We would highly recommend this tour.

Ramy is a very good guide, he made us feel safe. He told us many historical informations. We visited all with calm, everything was good. Lunch is basic, but good. No beverages included, but prices are cheap. We recomend Ramy. We paid 140$ for the half day tour, plus 30 $ for the pick up from the airport hotel le meridien. The tour is more expensive respect the rest, but it was good.
