The tour was great in every way. Rayn was our tour guide was excellent and made sure we were comfortable and having fun at all times. We started with Sand Surfing, did some 4X4 sand bashing on the way to the Bedouin village where we had some refreshments and donned our new head scarfs. We opted for a Camel ride which was better than the one at the Giza Pyramids, less crowded and more enjoyable. From there, more sand bashing in the 4x4. Ali our driver was great and provided a thrilling ride up the mountain. The view was amazing! We then drove down to the oasis Magic Lake for a swim and finished off with a great lunch at the Bedouin camp. Thanks so much for a great day! Rayn and Ali were fantastic

Definitely the best tour we did while in Egypt. Our tour guide Ramy was timely, knowledgeable, friendly, and created an overall fun atmosphere. Our driver Sala was also awesome as he navigated his way through the sand dunes. The excursion was beyond fun and we highly recommend it to all who visit Egypt!

This was an amazing getaway from the usual Cairo sights! It was simply amazing. Our guide “Z” was attentive and ensured we had the best experience. We were able to swim in the Magic lake”, ascend a mesa, dune bash (4x4), sand board down the slopes and finally eat a delicious meal at a native camp. Plenty of water was available to us at all times.

My expectation were rather mixed for this tour and we were really surprised. Our tour guide K took good care of us but sometimes we felt he was too quiet and expecting to be asked questions rather than giving us some insight of the area and such before being asked. He helped me arrange a dinner reservation in Cairo after the tour which was just amazing, top notch service! Our 4x4 drivers were the most nice people ever, we felt safe overall and they were looking out for us all the time. They were happy to take pictures and make sure we had a blast. We had two cars for the whole group and the car we rode had some difficulty at the end of the trip to go over a bigger sand dune as it was an older Land Cruiser. So your mileage may vary depending how old or new the car, so take that into consideration. Be prepared with your tips for everything, but I can say the drivers will definitely deserve it as they drive all day for you. Going over sand dunes and driving in the dessert with the 4x4 was amazing and really fun. They take you to a mountain that has just an amazing view of the dessert and surrounding area. Be really careful with the strong winds and those cliffs. The tourist center where the waterfall is located is kind of a letdown as the waterfall is small but once you learn about how the lakes were created and how the water is channeled then you will appreciate it. Nice place to take some pictures. The tourist center has some shops and you can buy some snacks. It has an incredible view of the lake. This is where you will take the camel ride. The camel ride was disappointing especially compared to the camel ride in Giza which we did the day before. It is very very short and there are were only 2 camels and they were very temperamental. Try to get some snacks before leaving as depending on the itinerary you may be having lunch very late. After they take you to this camp were you can find some toilets and have lunch. The lunch was okay just average but very appreciated. If possible ask to do the sand surfing before lunch otherwise you will have a very short and not so nice experience as we had with a full stomach. Surfing down the dunes so full was not that great. Makes climbing back up the dunes a difficult task. In my case after the third time it was impossible to climb back up the steep dune. Overall we had a blast and this part of our Egypt trip is one we enjoyed the most. Getting there takes a couple of hours but the small bus was very comfortable and clean. You should be back in your hotel by 16:00-17:00.

It was a really nice experience to see the desert and the waterfall. The lunch was very good. For the camel ride and serving the lunch were children doing this job which I considered sad. Children should be at school, not serving tourists. I didnt see this on the other tours.

The trip is a great experience and the guides showed us a great time. The team reached out to us via whatsApp a few days before to coordinate and Kahled picked us up from the hotel the day of. It took a while to get out of Cairo and to the point where we transferred to the 4x4 and then went into the Desert / National Park. Kaled made sure that we felt comfortable the entire time and we got some great photos of the desert once we traveled out into the more remote areas in the 4x4's, then sand surfing. Overall great excursion away from Cairo.

Dessert break from Cairo

We mainly took this trip because my wife wanted to see 'real' sand dunes and to go sand-boarding for her first time and this met the expectations. We are a family of 5 and we had a van pick us up from our hotel in Cairo and it drove about 2.5 hours to a small city where we transferred our 4X4 vehicle. After another 30 minute drive into the park we pulled off the road to some sand dunes where we had pictures taken and the kids sandboarded. This was followed by another short drive to the waterfall (which I found unimpressive). The only disappointment of the trip was that there was a long wait for the camel ride as there were only two camels there and 6 people ahead of us in line so we opted to ride horses which had no wait. This was followed by some more drives to the sand dunes past a mountain and to the magic lake where the kids asked to sandboard again. The trip was capped off by a good lunch of grilled chicken and we were back to our hotel in Cairo by 5pm. The tour guide was accommodating to our requests and very flexible. I do wish we would have gotten more detail in advance as we had no idea whether we would be riding with a dozen other people until the car picked us up and we only got the pick-up time (7am) at 3pm the day before when we asked for it.

Exhilarating Experience

This was probably the best tour that we could have ever done to really experience the dessert. And we could not have asked for a better tour guide than Fares. We can't say enough about him. He was simply amazing from beginning to end and we enjoyed our day fully with him. We learnt a lot and most of it we ne er knew before. Completely eye openeing. It was fun and an experience we will carry it with us for a lifetime. Thank you!!

Don’t miss this tour! I had a BLAST! The sites were gorgeous. They will help take a zillion pictures, and the day is jammed packed with fun. We did so much! This was a full day of bliss. I can’t say enough. I would just advise you to take this tour before you leave as you won’t be disappointed. You will see beautiful sites, and do a bunch of fun things. The sand boarding was the best! TAKE THIS TOUR! I have memories that will last a lifetime! Thanks for a fun day!

My guide Fakhry is the best tour guide I’ve ever seen - he is super helpful, knowledgeable and really took care of me during the whole trip. Even though I did not ask for, he helped me to take lots of wonderful pictures and prepared all the things I might need in advance. Not only that, I am a solo traveller and what I love Fakhry most is he genuinely enjoyed the time with me, making me feel like I am going on a trip with my friend! My drivers Tarek and Ali are also super nice and really took care of me during the trip - I really loved the music they are playing in the car and the safari was amazing! Besides, I really loved the arrangement and Sandboarding is the one I like the most - would like to play that again! 200% will come back again! Highly recommend this tour and the guide!
