Enjoyable and learnt a lot about Cambridge

The meeting point we agreed was easy enough to find, and we started right on time. Jo was brilliant throughout with her extensive knowledge of the history of the city and University of Cambridge. We particularly enjoyed the interesting facts and stories she shared. Since it was a private tour we were able to move at a pace that suits my mother, which may not be possible with a group tour. The tour ended where we were going punting next (with a different company) which was convenient and Jo gave a few suggestions for lunch. We went to one of them nearby, The Punter's, which was great. Overall very enjoyable and I recommend this tour.

Day trip to Cambridge

We had a most enjoyable walking tour with our guide Dick, a native of Cambridge. We learned so much in the 2 hours we walked around. This was a day trip for us out of London and we gave ourselves 4 hours before our return train to London but I recommend planning to spend more time in Cambridge because it is charming and there is so much to see.

We were at the meeting point but somehow the tour guide wasn’t aware there was a tour and very kindly refunded us. We had a wander ourselves. I’m sure the tour is great and very informative when it takes place. But the lady who is usually was very pleasant over the phone and unfortunately was not aware. Miscommunication for some reason

It was exceptional....You see marvelous structures...but its always the story that makes it more beautiful and memorable.....Cynics may say the stories are on internet...but story telling has its own charm...Jo was amazing...she was eager to share....its my second visit to Cambridge...but surely having a tour guide made it more meaningful.

Our very articulate and extremely knowledgeable tour guide, Dick Matthews, presented us with some of the very best architecture and historically significant sites of the University of Cambridge.
