Tolles Schnorchelerlebnis

Die Guides von Wet Set waren großartig! Miguel, el Pollo und Manuel waren sehr kenntnisreich, toll im Umgang mit den Kindern und insgesamt einfach tolle Guides! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und würden wieder bei dieser Firma buchen.

Dan (Guide) und Marco (Kapitän) wir sind beide großartig! Unsere fünfköpfige Familie (Kinder im Alter von 13, 11 und 8 Jahren) machte um 12:30 Uhr einen Schnorchelausflug und es war perfekt. Das Wasser war super ruhig und klar, was das Schnorcheln erleichterte und eine großartige Sicht ermöglichte. Wir waren schon viele Male schnorcheln, aber alle fanden, dass dies der beste Ausflug war, den wir je gemacht haben. Wir waren auch sehr dankbar, dass sie Neoprenanzüge zum Sonnenschutz zur Verfügung gestellt haben (da man keinen Sonnenschutz tragen kann). Nochmals vielen Dank für ein tolles Erlebnis!

Der beste Schnorchel aller Zeiten

Mein Mann und ich schnorcheln seit 20 Jahren in Cancun und es war immer fabelhaft. Es gibt so viele wunderschöne Fische, Korallen und Meeresbewohner zu sehen, dass es einem den Verstand raubt! Bei dieser Reise übernachteten wir in Puerto Morelos und entschieden uns für einen Schnorchelausflug mit einem lokalen Unternehmen, Wet Set Adventures. Lassen Sie mich Ihnen sagen, dass dies der absolut BESTE Schnorchel war, den wir je hatten! Dave, der Besitzer, ist der netteste und freundlichste Mensch. Er ist sehr herzlich und einladend und hat uns das Gefühl gegeben, zu Hause zu sein. Marcos war der Kapitän des Bootes Zebra II (nicht 1 - II! Insider-Witz!) und Uri war unser Führer. Sie sind beide die Besten in der Branche! Während wir auf Marcos' Ankunft warteten, brachte uns Uri zu einer Süßwasser-Cenote direkt vor der Küste. Da das Wasser an diesem Tag trüb war, konnten wir nur die Form der Cenote erkennen, aber das war viel kühl. Marcos kam und los ging es. Er brachte uns zu zwei verschiedenen Orten zum Schnorcheln am Mesoamerikanischen Riff, dem zweitgrößten Barriereriff der Welt nach dem Great Barrier Reef in Australien. Die beiden Orte, zu denen Uri uns führte, befanden sich in nur 6 bis 8 Fuß Wassertiefe, wodurch man die unglaubliche Korallen- und Meereswelt hautnah erleben konnte. Viel bessere Sicht als in tieferem Wasser. Wir haben mehrere Barrakudas gesehen, einer davon war ziemlich groß! Viele schöne Fische und wir haben sogar ein paar Muscheln gesehen! Wir waren eine ganze Weile im Wasser und haben so viele wundervolle Dinge gesehen. Der Preis war sehr vernünftig, aber das Erlebnis? Unbezahlbar! Vielen Dank an Dave und Wet Set Adventures, dass Sie diesen Schnorchel zum allerbesten gemacht haben, den wir je hatten! Wir sehen uns nächstes Jahr wieder!

Wir lieben Wet Set Diving und Schnorcheln. Sie sind derjenige, der diese Tour koordiniert. Sie bieten keine Abholung vom Hotel an, aber das ist in Ordnung. Steigen Sie einfach in ein Taxi oder mieten Sie einen privaten Shuttle von Ihrem Hotel aus. Sie sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und wirklich gut mit kleinen Kindern. Ich schlage vor, dass Sie ein guter Schwimmer sein sollten, um es mehr zu genießen. Meine Tochter, die 9 Jahre alt ist und eine starke Schwimmerin ist, hat es geschafft, die Schnorcheltour zu genießen. Wenn Sie kein Schwimmer sind, dann ist das auch in Ordnung, Sie können sich in den Rettungsring halten. Wir empfehlen die Wet Set-Gruppe.

Awesome snorkel with friendly people!

Short cab ride from Playa Del Carmen. Greeted by friendly staff. Professional equipment to use including shorty wetsuits. We used our own equipment and didn't need the suits. There is a place inside to store your things. No locker but I felt it was safe. Short boat ride out to the reef. The snorkeling was not just a drift but an active swim the entire time. We loved every second but I could see that some might not be able to keep up. There were only 2 other people on the trip. After snorkel, there is a shower and bathroom across the street to use. Take a short walk to the leaning lighthouse and the Puerto Morelos sign for pictures.

Coral Reef Snorkeling

Had a wonderful day on the water seeing several barracudas, schools of fishes, and a spotted eel. Snorkeling at Puerto Morelos Reef National Park was a great experience. Wet Set is also a PADI certified dive school.

Wonderful snorkeling for kids

I am so thankful to the staff of Wetset and especially Captain and guide Marcos and Pollo for a wonderful snorkeling experience in the reef in Puerto Morelos. They provide wet suits to avoid sunburn since it’s not allowed to use sunblock that could damage the reef. Also, they helped our 3 and 5 year old snorkel safely and helped them enjoy the experience and see all kinds of beautiful marine life that it would have been harder for them to see on their own.

Great experience. Well organized. Really spent the amount of time advertised snorkeling. Got to see beautiful fish sting ray barracuda and see how they’re trying to preserve the reef. Very accommodating in answering all my sons questions about the fish afterwards. Guillermo was an excellent guide and showed us all the exciting animals before they had a chance to swim away! Highly recommend.

Great small group snorkeling tour

My wife and I chose this snorkeling tour because it was for small groups. The meeting area was easy to find and the people were extremely friendly and helpful. Everything that we needed, they had. Fins, goggles, snorkel, and a wet suit to keep the sun off you since you can’t wear sunscreen. The shorter excursion was perfect for us and we only had 5 people on our trip out. We saw a ray, a turtle, barracuda, and many other colorful fish. I also was very happy that I was able to bring my own GoPro to get video. If you’re looking for an intimate, quick snorkeling excursion, I would highly recommend this one.

Puerto Morelos vip snorkel

We did a vip tour with Alejandra (ally) and it was fantastic. The entire staff was friendly and diverse. They had a wet suit we could (&recommend) and all the snorkeling gear. We took a small speed boat out to the reef and snorkeled for about 1.5 hours. Ally would point out fish to us that I would have missed otherwise. This was much better than a large group snorkel. Grab some at Don Ernestos next door!

Husband loved this! The people were wonderful and the snorkel experience was much better than what the area between Cancun/ Isla Mujeres provided. Puerto Morales was a cute little town that we wish we could have explored a bit!
