Eddie war ein wunderbarer Reiseleiter! Er war sehr gut informiert über die Architekturgeschichte Chicagos sowie die Geschichte hinter dem Essen (Gyros, Hotdogs, Brownies usw.). Unbedingt Appetit mitbringen - die "Kostproben" waren groß und lecker! Definitiv ein "Muss" in Chicago.

Unsere Reiseleiterin Denise war 1/2 Stunde zu spät. Als ich Viator anrief, um herauszufinden, was los war, hatten sie keine Ahnung. Denise kam schließlich zu uns, um zu erkennen, dass sie die Pizza nie bestellt hatte, also warteten wir bis nach 13 Uhr, um die Pizza zu bekommen (warten seit 11: 30 Uhr). Dann sagte sie der Kellnerin, sie solle die Scheiben kleiner schneiden, damit sie welche haben könnte. Sie hat zwei unserer Haltestellen (Hot Dog und Bar) komplett ausgelassen und sich an einer der Haltestellen einen Drink bestellt. Dies war die schlimmste Tour, die ich je gemacht habe!

Wirklich ehrliche Bewertung hier. Die Tour war nicht das, was online beworben wurde. Sicher, unser Reiseleiter war unterhaltsam und wir haben von den besuchten Orten etwas über die Geschichte erfahren. Es gibt jedoch wirklich nur 3 Essensstopps - Deep Dish, Beef Sandwiches und ein Dessert. Die Portionen waren riesig und niemand hatte Hunger, aber ich war auf Food-Touren auf der ganzen Welt und hatte noch nie so wenig Geschmack. Ich denke, eine Food-Tour beinhaltet kleine Kostproben des Besten, was die Stadt zu bieten hat, und das war nicht der Fall. Die Tourbeschreibung zeigt 5 Essensstopps und andere Sehenswürdigkeiten, die wir nie gesehen haben. Sie sehen den Picasso nicht, Sie gehen nicht durch den Millennium Park und Sie kommen nicht am River Walk vorbei. Es war eine angenehme Tour, aber nicht das, was ich erwartet hatte, und ich bin mir sicher, dass es bessere Touren (Essen, Stadt oder beides) gibt.

Jordan war fantastisch. Hielt die Gruppe auf Trab und war von Anfang bis Ende sehr engagiert! Meine eine Sache ist, dass wir eher einen Hot Dog (oder ein anderes einheimisches Essen) als 2 Desserts probiert haben.

Josh was a great guide. He even suggested other places to eat, see a show or just do while in town. The walking was nicely paced and if you are worried about the amount of walking it is very easy.

Fantastic Downtown Summer Outing

For our end of summer team outing, I chose a downtown Food Tour. I read a short description, but the actual tour was SOO much better!! We met our guide Justin at Gino's East and delicious food and fun started right away! Deep Dish Pizza... Yum!!!! Justin was Fabulous and couldn't have asked for a better guide!! He was welcoming, friendly, walked at a good pace (for a group of 12) and not only took us for tasty Chicago Cuisine, but included a historical tour of local Chicago sights and stories!! It was Great!! All in all we enjoyed our time in the city, Justin was Fabulous.... did I say that? LOL We had a Fantastic Day!!! YEAH!!!

Fabulous! Show up hungry - we are places I would never find and learned a ton of history. I felt like a true Chicagoan after this tour. A great way to enjoy and embrace the Chicago culture - food and so much more. I saw things I would never see!! Love this!
