Wir trafen uns pünktlich im Tourismusbüro und machten uns auf den Weg zu einem Irish Coffee, um unterwegs etwas über Cork zu lernen. Anschließend machten wir uns auf den Weg zum herrlichen englischen Markt, um Wein, Käse und Meeresfrüchte zu probieren. Die Austern und der geräucherte Lachs waren sehr lecker. Es folgten Chowder, Schokolade und Stout in der Bodega. Frances war eine sehr aufmerksame Reiseleiterin und wir mussten erst viel später am Tag essen! Genossen durch das Zulassen

Amanda was an incredible guide and steward of Cork! Between the Art, History, Delicious Food, and all the little details she shared about the neighborhood and architecture- this was the most informative and well rounded tour we’ve been on. She truly loves her hometown, and gave us good reason to love it as well. And her voice!! One doesn’t often get serenaded in a pub. Brilliant day, absolutely recommend this tour and Amanda!

Kerry was a great guide. She pointed out places of interest and history as we went around. The range of food and drink we tried was wonderful. In the English market we spoke to the food producers and enjoyed generous samples. No need for lunch that day.

The Cork Culinary Tour was the highlight of our stay in Cork. We met delightful people who were part of the Tour and enjoyed the company of our guide, Frances. She was so knowledgable about the area and was a lot of fun to be with! While all the food and beverages were delicious, my surprise was the mashed peas brochetta! Yummy! We would recommend this Culinary Tour to everyone! Come hungry!

4 of us had a FANTASTIC time on this tour! We dodged the rain and our lunch location was changed from one one restaurant (where the ceiling was falling due to heavy rain) to another great restaurant with our guide, Frances' quick action and spot on timing and connections! Fun for foodies and a great shore excursion in Cork

Really enjoyed our food tour with Anna. As we were coming from a cruise ship, they arranged a car to pick us up from the pier. And when that didn’t really work out getting back they waited with us to get another taxi. Food tour was good and guide was highly knowledgeable. We loved the Irish coffee and the oysters/chocolates/sausages and strawberries at the English market The last stop was the only odd one. We went to a pub and while we liked the beer we were served tapas that had nothing to do with Ireland. Think we would have preferred stew or something Irish. Seemed to be a little mixup though w another group joining us - they got there late and there were two guides and one guide left to get them. So we weren’t sure this was a typical ending. But we really liked it and would highly recommend. Only took off one point for the last stop and that may have been a post-covid issue or the issue w the other group. Thanks so much

Amazing food tour in Cork with Frances!

Thoroughly enjoyed our walking food tour with Frances in Cork. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional and funny - a true pleasure to be with! We sampled many diverse food and drinks and learned a lot about the city and country’s history. We especially loved our stop at the English Market where Frances seemed to know everyone there!
