Great value for shore excursion

Nice tour with plenty of time at each stop. Certainly a much better value than the cruise ship pricing, with fewer people on the tour. We were able to get to Blarney Castle ahead of the big tour groups and basically had no wait in line while we heard others on the cruise had waited an hour or more. We were also glad to have time at the end to explore Cobh - it's a beautiful little town.

We had a wonderful time seeing he Blarney castle and walking the gorgeous grounds and gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed a traditional Irish lunch in the idyllic town of Kinsale. Our guide Niles was very good.

Bus left pier before designated time and left us, or didn’t show up. Terrible customer service. We had to make other arrangements.

Kevin was super nice and was a great tour guide. We were able to see everything in plenty of time and never felt rushed. The Woolin mills was a super nice place for shopping.

Early to Blarney Castle, no line up to go up to kiss Blarney Stone. Walked through gardens. Commentator and driver where excellent. Highly recommend.

What an awesome day! Pick up at the port was easy and fast. We got off to Blarney Castle quickly and arrived as one of the first buses of the day, and that was most helpful in getting see everything as quickly as possible. We stopped for a quick bathroom break and then into line at the castle. The line was already 1 hour long, but there's lots to see in the castle while waiting. You can grab a photo they take at the top of kissing the stone for a reasonable price. With leftover time, we grabbed some ice cream and food at the shops, and then off for a little shopping before getting back on the bus for a nice ride to Kinsale. Our guide let us know of some of the best places to eat in town, and we ended up at Kitty O'Se's, which was a totally great Irish pub, and good prices. We also had some ice cream across the street, that we enjoyed while walking around town before getting back on the bus. Back to the port with plenty of time!

Our Driver is very friendly and explained in detail everything. He also gave us enough time to take pictures and bathroom time. When we got on the bus he gave us all a goody bag. The Goody bag contains something to drink, cookies, and candy.

Our trip to Cork and Blarney Castle was awesome in large part because of our guide Kevin and Driver Jeff. My adult daughter had a slip and fall on the way down slippery steps in Blarney Castle! Liam an employee of the castle rounded up a wheelchair for us and escorted us to the bus. Kevin and Jeff helped my daughter into the bus and made sure she was comfortable as we finished the tour. I would highly recommend this company that made a very big difference in the way our day unfolded. They were both so caring and attentive. a

Our bus arrived as one of the first, allowing us to get into the castle and queue for kissing the Blarney Stone without a long wait. The grounds are beautiful and we had ample time to enjoy.

Plenty of time to explore the grounds. Arriving early meant almost no line if you wanted to kiss the Blarney stone. Kindle is beautiful. Very scenic. Great guide. Vehicle was clean & in good condition

We did the tour from the port of Cobh. Ian,Willie and Jess looked after us exceptionally well. We arrived at Blarney Castle just before it opened so managed to avoid the crowds. Blarney Castle was a lovely experience and although we didn’t kiss the Blarney stone we were able to really appreciate and enjoy the gardens. We did an interesting tour of Cork City and Charles fort. We had a lovely visit to Kinsale the scenery was wonderful. A lovely lunch in Jim Edwards Pub with amazing chips !!. One of the venues recommended by Ian. We completed our tour in Cobh with a visit to St Coleman’s Cathedral before being dropped back at the Ship. Ian was a very good guide he gave us some interesting and historical facts on the tour all presented with a good bit of Irish humour. All in all an amazing day tour in Cork. We would not hesitate to recommend this Butlers tour as the whole day was extremely enjoyable. Thank you very much Margaret.
We Kissed the Stone

Overall this was an outstanding tour. We arrived at the Blarney Castle ahead of most of the ship excursions so our line to "kiss the stone" was relatively short (30 min). The line was at least 1.5 hours long after we had finished the climb and the other ship excursions had arrived. The one knock on the tour was the itinerary listed a 30 min stop for the Blarney Woolen Mills but this was actually combined with the Blarney Castle stop time so we rushed out of the castle grounds to get go into the woolen mills. We wish we could have stayed longer at the castle vs the ample free time at Kinsale. That being said, Kinsale was a very nice town and the place that was recommended for lunch (Dino's) was very good. Kevin (guide) and William (driver) were both excellent. We really appreciate the tour leaving at the stated time (30 minutes after arrival) vs delaying the start trying to locate missing participants and taking away the precious time at the various stops during the tour.

Ian and the driver were right on the ball to get us out at the port and to Blarney Castle just before it opened. We were one of the first buses there.....no lineups to get into the Castle (some tour buses behind us were waiting 2 hours to get in). The rest of the drive to Kinsale was nice. We could have passed on Kinsale, and just did Blarney Castle, Cork and Cobh tour. Enjoyed the overview of Cork and Cobh.....last stop by the church was really nice!
