Great Biking Experience

The bike tour was the best way to see the beautiful landscape. We were provided with all we need: helmets, bags and tour tips and E-bikes were excellent.

An overdue review... where to begin! We were on a Norwegian cruise with a stop in Killybegs. We took a town bus to Ireland by Bike where we met Seamus and his wife, Nora! They gave us directions with a map, and sent us on our journey! We rode from the shop in Carrick, down to Silver Strand beach, got lost a little bit, ventured around the very pretty Glencolmcille, and rode our way up to Slieve League cliffs as fast as we could, so we could make our bus on time! We told Nora and Seamus our plan, which comes into play soon... We ended up taking a wrong turn and got lost AGAIN! We almost turned around, defeated. Even asking people on the road if going there was really "THAT worth it..." it was always yes. We decided we would chance missing the last bus to our ship, trusted that the universe had our back, and peddled to the top of the cliffs like we were in the Tour de France. We were ELATED to see hot dogs, lobster rolls, souvenirs, and the BEST honey comb ice cream we have had in our lives. Walking a little more down the path we saw the breathtaking views, and listened to a man sing while playing the guitar.. Incredible memories. Realizing that time had flown by, we coasted down the mountain road. Before we even exited the parking lot to the cliffs, we passed Nora in her car! She had noticed we were well behind schedule and came to make sure we were ok. Once we got back to the shop, Nora offered us a ride all the way back to Killybegs! When you come to Ireland, you have a vision of what it will be like. This day, this experience, was everything I dreamed Ireland would be. A beautiful adventure with kind people going out of their way to help you when you really need it. A completely unforgettable day that left us on a high for days to come. Go raibh mile maith agat!

The BEST experience!

We had the BEST experience! We spent a total of 8 days in Ireland and this tour was by far our favourite day. Incredibly beautiful area and biking through allowed us to take lots of pictures and truly enjoy everything around us. Plus Seamus was absolutely wonderful - quick to respond and went out of his way to make it a great experience! Can’t recommend this enough.

The business owners were very friendly and helpful, providing useful instructions, panniers and a map. The scenery was spectacular and the roads were quiet, even on a hot day in summer. Lots to see and do along the way. The electric bikes were easy to manage and made cycling up hills a pleasure rather than a mission! Great value, we loved the experience and would definitely recommend it.

An Absolute Must-Do Adventure in Ireland

Seamus and Nora were a delight to deal with, perfectly communicative and accommodating, and the tour they suggested was clear, gorgeous, and exactly as they described in terms of challenges/distances/etc. The bikes are beautifully maintained and this particular e-bike tour is one of the most fun things I can imagine doing in Donegal!

Amazing bikes, incredible host and unforgettable experience

Out of the world experience cycling to slieve League and around Donegal coastline with e-bikes. Not at all tiring even after a 50+ km ride with such amazing bikes. The walk assist feature is incredible and helps a lot along steep hills.. Also, special thanks to Seamus for guiding us so well for the route and providing enough time and best info to have heart-fulfilling tour. PS. He is such a nice person that he came in his car to pick us up while we were lost finding his e-bike center - this tour is a MUST!!!!!
