Wunderschöner Tag in Abu Dhabi

Wir wurden pünktlich von unserem Guide Alyas angeholt, die Fahrt von Deira Island dauerte sehr lange, wir haben noch 4 weitere Gäste abgeholt, die in Dubai Stadt wohnten. Ein Päärchen aus Los Angeles, eine junge Frau aus Hongkong, ein Mann aus Italien. So hatten wir einen tollen Austausch mit de anderen Gästen aus versch. Nationen. Die Fahrt bis Abu Dhabi dauerte 90 min. Wie besuchten zuerst die Scheich Zayid Moschee, bekamen schwarze Gewänder und Kopftücher von unserem Guide. Die Moschee ist sehr schön, Eintritt incl. und einfach ein Muss. Wir hielten uns dort 60 min auf und konnten viele Fotos machen. Der Guide erklärte uns vorher sehr viel, wir waren aber alleine in der Moschee unterwegs. Dann ging es weiter zu dem Palast des Scheichs, dem Emirates Palace, Yas Island, Besuch eines Teppichgeschäftes mit Schmuckgeschäft, Dattelmarkt, Heritage Village, wir waren original arabisch zu Mittag essen. Und zum Abschluss Ferrari World mit 30 min Besuch und einer Überfahrt über die Formel 1 Rennstrecke Zieleinlauf. Der Tag war wunderschön, unser Guide Alyas hat uns alles prima erklärt, war sehr hilfsbereit und wir hatten mit den anderen Urlaubern viel Spaß und nette Gespräche. Wir nehmen nette Erinnerungen mit. Sehr empfehlenswert, tolles Preisleistungsverhältnis. Am Abend war wir nach 12 Std wieder im Hotel auf Deira Islands.

Die Tour war gut geplant und sollte sehr interessant werden, aber statt eines normalen Tourbusses bekamen wir einen Minivan für 12 Personen. Der Van war ohne Tourismusfasziitis voll, nicht komfortabel (keine Taschen, keine Klapptische, keine flexiblen Stühle, kein USB für Kabelverbindungen). Der Fahrer war auch Reiseleiter mit begrenzten Fachkenntnissen.

Tour guide never showed up and was unable to be contacted...... Can't even give one star with a no show!

If visiting the mosque was the purpose, then the trip is ok.

We were picked up on time, the communication about pick up was smooth. When we didn’t like the place for lunch, the driver was able to take us to the mall for different food. The driver was rather quiet, provided limited information, he acted more like a driver instead of a tour guide. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was really beautiful, that was the best part of the whole trip, visiting the art gallery and Dates market was waste of time, the rest of the trip was ordinary.

Dangerous taxi tour !

Guide arrived late, don't tell his name, car was really unconfortable ( we were in the back and we are tall so... squeeze all the day), bad ventilation, we visited the places but ( 2 were skipped ), no comment ( so not a guide), he did almost a car accident and a poursuit followed in town ! A little bite later, he did a race car with an other guide on highway ( more than 140/ hr) ...My son ( 17 yrs old and military cadet was afraid and told me : no race with tourist inside a car !) In fact, I travel a lot, I'm a old car racer and I drive in any condition ( bad road, flood, snow storm, animal on the road etc) , it's my first time with a so unsafe experience during a tourist tour... A good dangerous and furious taxi tour but not more....

excellent tour guide and customer relations

I must say that we didn't think our tour will happen. Our driver didn't turn up on our booked date. However, the tour operator called us a few hours after and was very apologetic. There was a miscommunication, and they were very sorry. He immediately offered us the next day which fortunately was a free day for us. It was a group of six with good rapport. Khalid, the tour guide was excellent He knew the story and history very well. He was warm and courteous. We were very delighted and happy we made the journey from dubai. I will definitely recommend them

I suggest do not take this tour. No a tour guide, even not talking about a professional guide as stated in a tour description. A driver as a tour guide started to say something at the end of the tour around 5 pm

Full day Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque Tour

The mosque is gorgeous as is Abu Dhabi. The walk from the entrance to the mosque & the mosque itself is a bit of a distance. It is a full day trip. If given the choice of eating lunch in the mall or local buffet do the buffet. The food was good with lots of options. The drive to & from Dubai is interesting. Lots of interesting facts about the area were described by the tour guide. The date market & Ferrari world was not worth the time for me. I wasn’t interested in much other than seeing the Mosque. Our driver was an hour late for pick up due to other guests not being on time for their pick up. Be on time for the sake of the other guests & tour guides time.

Don't do it

This was a terrible tour and needs to be cancelled. There is more to a tour than just driving from one location to another and only highlighting the richest states or hotel. Aleem the guide was quite obnoxious and tried to make us all fill feedback forms before he would took us home. He also lacked depth in history of the sites we went to and focused on superficial facts. Firstly Qasr Al Watan, Saadiyat Island, Marina Mall were missed off and we were given 40 minutes in Yas Island mall. These decisions were made for us and not given to us. Wen asked they pointed at from across the riviera. Secondly, we were taken to a buffet restaurant which cost 75AED. We would have had better food at the marina mall. Thirdly, the landcruiser was packed and rather uncomfortable for 6 adults plus a long drive for such a journey. And finally, this tour looks poor on Viator for selling it and has put me off trusting the ratings.

Photo Ops Only with no engaging tour guide

While the locations/spots on this tour are okay, similar to other reviews, the tour guide we had was just a driver, and getting to him engage and provide any information on the sites and attraction was like pulling teeth. If you're just looking to go to a bunch of stops to take pictures with no real engaging interaction at the sites you're seeing, then this tour will work. If you're looking for an engaging experience with guides who bring these sites to life, then this is not the experience that provides that

Muy hermosa la experiencia de la visita a la Mezquita Zayed, y al Palacio de los Emiratos, nunca nos llevó a Qasr Al Watan Isla Yas e Isla Sadiyath, se le comentó al guía si pasaríamos por las islas para tomar fotos y dijo que no, que eso no. Me quedé como con mal sabor de boca, ya que si fue muy amable, pero no cumplió con el tur completo.Me sentí estafada.
