Sorry you didn't feel the Pub Crawl is worth it, Marc. I totally get that while monetary worth and value is one thing, your time is another, more important, element - and we always strive to make every night out with us worthy of our guests' precious time in the city. That said, I feel a 1 out of 5 rating is a bit harsh; the fact is, we don't have the kinds of 'interactive' elements that you might expect having done other pub crawls in other cities - like beer pong or flip-cup, or such games....that is not in our local pub culture. Instead, we focus on an authentic, proper Dublin night out, taking in a variety of great pubs and nightlife institutions loved by locals and visitors alike. The theatre of the pub, the unique atmosphere, the music, the people...that's what it's all about. We come together as a crew of ready-made party buddies, we go as a group, we stop outside each venue as a group, we introduce ourselves and instill a collective group dynamic, we have group bants, and we actively encourage crawlers to get to know each other......but we don't take you by the hand and force you to make friends....that's up to you.
The majority of our reviews across all platforms cite how great the crawl is for meeting people and having a fun night out with new people. Of course, some people may be more introverted than others, or find it more difficult to strike up a rapport with friends they haven't met before....that's okay, we try our best to help those people out, but 'horse to water' and all that....
€14 for free welcome Guinness, 3 free quality shots, exclusive drink specials and discounts (saving average €2.90 per drink), and free entry and skip the line to all venues, including silent disco and the most popular nightclub in the city (saving up to €22 just on entry fees), there is absolutely no question about the high-worth and unbeatable value-proposition. I'm sorry you didn't find it to be worthwhile, though, Marc, I just wish you'd have come to us on the night and expressed that you were finding it difficult to put yourslf out there and integrate with fellow crawlers; we'd have been more than happy to help you out, of course.
