Hi Johanna
I must clarify that it was absolutely not 180 people. There was 116 and as you have mentioned this was across three groups. There was just 38 in your group. I can understand some exaggerating for the sake of the review, but this is entirely misleading. If you had counted everyone, you'd realise your estimated number is pretty inaccurate. I can understand that when you first see so many people before the crawl starts, it might be a little surprising, but as we only have max. 40 to a group, it is unfair to claim that you were in such a large group. I know also that the German stereotype is one of a very efficient and organised people, so perhaps our Irish style of organisation is a little crazy looking to you, but I can assure you that we are always in control of the process. We've been conducting pub crawls for 11 years so far, and while it can be a lot of work processing everyone on busy nights before we get started in groups, we feel we do it exceptionally well, all factors considered.
I'm glad you enjoyed the pubs you stayed for, Johanna. The fourth is a little bit different than the first few, but we want to give you all a proper cross-section
of authentic local nightlife. The 4th spot is an institution of Dublin pubs, and one of the most loved bars of locals, and by most of our crawlers too, so it's a pity you didn't stay to give it a fair chance. Different people like different vibes, and we offer something for everyone! The club you missed out on is the most popular in the city...it's always a good time, so again, a pity you didn't try it.
I'm glad you think it's good value....free welcome Guinness, free shots in each pub and exclusive drink discounts, free entry and skip the line everywhere (saving €20 on entry fees alone) and all for just €14, there's not much to complain about really.
We do take your opinion seriously Johanna, even if it's something of an exaggeration, and we will strive to be even more efficient with the check-in process where possible.
Thanks.
