    Schöne Tour mit vielen Informationen und interessanten Fakten

    Die Tour war sehr unterhaltsam und informativ. Er machte auf die Dinge um uns herum in Dublin aufmerksam und integrierte sie in die lustigen Geschichten, die Geschichte und die Folklore. Insgesamt waren es zwei tolle Stunden voller Lachen und einer unbeschwerten Stimmung, die wie im Flug verging.

    Alam war ein großartiger Geschichtenerzähler - sehr einnehmend und informativ - ich habe nicht einmal bemerkt, dass 2 Stunden vergangen waren! Ich würde diese Tour auf jeden Fall empfehlen und alle anderen, die er führt.

    Karl the tourguide was funny and inspiring storyteller and the time just flew buy. The folklore and mythology stories were something that I would not have expected. Interesting facts and folklore.

    Our guide was really knowledgable and funny. I wish we had seen more physical examples of the folklore but that’s not really anyone’s fault. Time passes and things change. He did a great job explaining the folklore and mythology of Ireland though. Plus, we ended our tour in a lively area so it was great to explore after with my boyfriend.

    The stories, the pictures in the album, the locations and the Humor. The explanations on the statues on the roofs, the graveyard. It is not a regular walk in the city.

    Helena is an amazing guide with great comedic timing and general good sense of Humor. The stories about Irish folklore were fun and I couldn’t believe two hours were over so soon, i could listen to Helena talk all day and not get tired!

    I absolutely loved this tour. Our tour guide, Karl, told the stories in a very engaging way and was very knowledgeable on both mythology/history. He was also very funny and I learned many interesting things about Irish mythology. I definitely recommend this if you’re interested in mythology.

    Got two links to Irish folklore that I shared. Karl is a fun tour guide. Forgot to ask: do left-handed harpists need their harps restrung or do they just face the other direction as opposed to the Guinness logo?

    A good tour with lots to offer anyone interested in history or mythology. Karl was a great guide, not only funny and informative but mindful to lead us to sheltered places whenever possible to avoid the worst of the rainy weather.

    It was interesting and our tour guide Helena was great! It just didn't have the focus on mythology and folklore that we expected. About half of the stories were about quite modern people who might become legends one day, and half about the older Irish folklore. I feel like I could have gone on a history tour of Dublin and would have received much of the same information. Again, a very nice experience just not so heavy on old folklore and myth.

    Karl with a K (very important) was such a great storyteller, we were immediately immersed in Irish folklore as soon as the tour began. Then you go through all the old buildings that you think to yourself “Damn. That’s a handsome building” but pass by because it’s not really on your priority list. We started pointing out the fairy trees ever since the tour, even when we got back to the States. But honestly; we just point at white flowered trees and call them fairy trees. Sorry, we’re not good with nature. We also started reading a lot of Wiki pages about Irish myths and folklore too. Thank you Karl with a K (very important)! We think you were one of the best parts of our short trip to Ireland.

    This tour with Alan was both informative and highly entertaining. Our group learned a lot about Irish folklore. Alan is a very good speaker and knows how to keep the group moving and info organized. Very fun and a perfect end to our Ireland adventure.

    FANTASTIC tour. We learned so much and had such a great time with Alan. Very interesting stories and a knowledgeable guide made the tour a wonderful experience. It was a small and personal tour which allowed for nice conversations and questions to be asked. Truly appreciated this unique guided experience and recommend to anyone interested in Irish mythological ages intertwined with historical context of the city of Dublin. It was held near sunset which was a nice walking experience! We had also gone to the Irish museum of archaeology earlier in the day and appreciated how we could connect stories told during the tour to exhibits at the museum. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland, highly recommend it!
