Wow! That’s all I can say. The site is so amazing and even though this was a whirlwind day trip from Guatemala City (the day after we arrived), the early morning was worth it to experience Tikal. Our guide was fantastic and we had enough time to explore everything we wanted to see!

Reyes did a great job. Took the time to explain the buildings, hieroglyphics, and history of the Mayan civilization. Many interesting facts given. He was also patient and allowed us to go at our own pace. Great pics also. Pickup and return at our hotel in Flores. Overall 5 stars and would highly recommend.

Our day in Tikal was perfect! Our driver and guide picked us up at the airport, took us to the ruins, and shared his passion for the history of the place throughout the day! He helped bring everything to life and made it an incredible experience! We intend to return and enjoy it all again, someday… And we will definitely be returning to Reyes… our guide and new friend in Guatemala!

Reyes is so incredibly knowledgeable and worked the tour around our schedule making our day completely unforgettable! This place totally rivals Machu Picchu, it just doesn't get as much marketing. It's so much better to have a private tour and you can't do better than Reyes. We weren't sure about making this trip from Antigua, but are so glad we did.

Look no further and book this tour - you will not regret it! Reyes was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. I Was supposed to do the tour with two friends but they had flight issues and so I did the tour solo. Reyes took the time to climb all the ruins with me to explain everything and as other reviewers have said, you feel like longtime friends by the end of the day. He also a wonderful photographer - taking many pictures. Throughout the day, people were trying to steal Reyes because he was so engaging - no joke! I could not recommend this tour more. Book now!

We had absolutely great time with Byron (hopefully I wrote it correctly). I can recommend this private tour to everybody, it is much more enjoyable than just running around with map and reading the notes on information tables. You will definatelly get comprehensive knowledge about life and history of the Mayans with all the knowledge and Byron made us great photos as well. It worths every penny!

Great day spent in Tikal with Reyes, my driver / guide for the day ! Spoke perfectly English, and had a extensive knowledge of the site, the Mayan dynasties, the history of the Mayan civilization : immersive day in the life of the Mayans, we went through all the places in the park, even some hidden places, loved it. The minivan had AC, very confortable. The trip started at 8am to finish back to Flores around 4pm, water bottles and park entrance provided, and also a lunch in the park (good soup & grilled chicken / rice plate). Healthy food, no risks 😉 We made a small stop in a shop on the way, interesting to see a replica of a Mayan tomb with a Mayan codex (no obligation to buy anything). Great day globally !!

I enjoyed that Reyes told me about the story of the temple in the central plaza- the story is very interesting and relates to family ties, I also enjoyed how Reyes was so enthusiastic when guiding me and explaining things, he kept me interested and was genuine! With Reyes, you will get a nicely air conditioned car, an entertaining guide, a heap of great information relating to the nature (trees, plants and animals), along with a plethora of information related to the Mayans and everything with the Tikal area! He is so detailed it's great and he even understands the numbering system of the Mayans really well! It was a pleasure being on a tour with him and I enjoyed his company, he felt like a friend tbh and was a professional guide who answered all my questions! I really appreciate Reyes and would hands down do more tours with him! Especially after hearing how some guides did not explain things to other tourists about the history which would suck for me tbh!
