Je nachdem, welche Abfahrtszeit Sie auswählen, beginnt Ihre Nachttour pünktlich um 19:00 Uhr oder 21:00 Uhr. Sie sollten jedoch eine halbe Stunde vor Beginn in der Lobby des Smokey Mountain Resort des Holiday Inn in Gatlinburg einchecken. Von dort aus schlendern Sie durch einige der gruseligsten Straßen in Gatlinburg. Erfahren Sie auf dieser 1-Meilen-Wanderung von Ihrem Reiseführer die gespenstische Geschichte hinter jedem geisterhaften Stopp der Reise. Lernen Sie einige der Geister mit Namen kennen und folgen Sie dem gleichen Weg, den einige von ihnen gegangen sind, bevor sie zu Geistern wurden. Werfen Sie einen Blick auf Fotos, die andere Besucher von unheimlichen Ereignissen (wie schwebenden Kugeln und Erscheinungen) aufgenommen haben, die sie nicht erklären konnten, und entscheiden Sie selbst, was sie glauben sollen. Actually thats not what you did. Folks have you been on a ghost walk anywhere before? what were your expectations? You were taken to a number of haunted locations for two hours, you were told the history, the folklore and the history of what happened there, you were shown pics that we have gotten previously and told how to take pics yourself and you got to use ghost hunting equipment. It is impossible for any ghost tour in the world to march out ghost like its the haunted mansion at Disneyland. Those who try to actually take pictures often get pics of activity.

Das war eine echte Geldverschwendung! Der Führer brachte sie bald zur Schwiegermutter und behauptete, sie würde sie ausbilden. Sie fuhren ein Schrottauto, wo wir uns trafen, um die Tour zu beginnen. Sie sagte, wenn wir Bären jagen würden, würde sie uns anschreien, als wären wir Kinder! Bevor die Tour begann, haben wir fünfzehn Minuten damit verschwendet, dass sie uns dumme Geisterspielzeuge gab, die wahrscheinlich so programmiert waren, dass sie in bestimmten Bereichen der Tour losgingen und uns wieder wie Kinder behandelten! Die wenigen Geschichten, die sie uns erzählte, waren eher langweilig! Verschwenden Sie nicht Ihr Geld für diese Tour und zwei Stunden Ihres Lebens!

I am sorry you felt this way. Normally we meet in the lobby of the smoky mountain resort but due to covid-19 restrictions we are not allowed to, so like 95% of all ghost walk tours in the world we must meet on the street or in our case, in a parking lot. As a matter of fact she is training someone currently and whether this person is her future mother in law is frankly irrelevant. The guide in question does not have a brand new car you are correct (unfortunatly, not all of us can afford a new car) but it is not falling apart and what the personal car she drives is honestly her business and what you drive is yours. As for her comments about the bears, we do give a safety chat about bears as some people don't realize they are still wild animals and while they will ignore you if you don't bother them, they are not stuffed animals to try to hug. (unfortunately some have tried!) I am sorry you feel that treats you as children. While I was not there I did speak with the guide and she did tell me that when she talked about the bears that you could have interpreted her tone of voice as "lecturing" I have spoken with her about it and hopefully she will do better next time. I do apologize to you if you felt the way she spoke was inapropriate. As for wasting your time with "kids" toys. These "toys" are the same used on TV by all the ghost hunting shows. None are cheap and some of them are quite expensive. We cannot "set them to go off at various places on the tour" I am not sure why you feel the need to accuse without any facts whatsoever. If you didn't want to use them you did not need to and the time taken in passing them out did not take away from your time on the tour. I am not sure how letting people use ghost hunting equipment (which is very popular by the way) constitutes treating our guests like children. As for your opinion that the stories we tell are lame and boring we have hundreds of 5 star reviews and have earned 4 Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence awards in a row with full expectation of a 5th when they announce the awards anytime now. So, while you certainly have a right to your opinion, the vast vast majority of people have a great time and enjoy the stories and the equipment.

The tour guide (forgot his name but had a cane) was very informative and passionate. He also had pictures, videos, and devices for us to use to detect paranormal activity. I would definitely recommend him and this tour to anyone who is into this who comes to Gatlinburg.

Fun stories but nothing happened

While the tour was informative it was a lot of walking for nothing. we didn't really see or hear anything just the guy talking and the group walking around stops looking like a bunch of weirdos in parking with cheap "ghost hunting tools". we were handed an emf thingy and I could set it off by turning side to side or accidentally taping it. One of the couples was handed a music box thingy and it just kept going off even when we weren't by the ghosty areas. I don't know why we paid $30 a person for this tour and then we were asked to give a tip why not just include it in the price.
