Das erwartet Sie

Verlassen Sie Ihr Hotel in Las Palmas im klimatisierten Bus, und fahren Sie in Richtung Norden in die elegante Stadt Arucas. Sehen Sie sich die neogotische Kirche Iglesia de San Juan mit ihren an Gaudi erinnernden Türmchen sowie kulturelle Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die lokale Rumdestillerie und eine Bananenfarm an. Sie können es sich nicht entgehen lassen, einen Spaziergang durch die neoklassizistischen Straßen zu unternehmen und die neogotische Kirche San Juan zu besuchen.

Wir begeben uns zum Tal Los Berrazales in Agaete. Dieser Ort ist sehr reich an tropischen Früchten, Weinen und Kaffee – die einzige Plantage in Europa. Kanarisches Mittagessen unterwegs. Wir besuchen auch den Hafen von Las Nieves, ein malerisches Fischerdorf. Die Tour umfasst den Eintritt in eine interessante kanarische indigene Ausgrabungsstätte, die zu einem historischen, künstlerischen Denkmal erklärt wurde.

Nachdem Sie einige der Sehenswürdigkeiten bewundert und mehr über die Geschichte der Stadt und Kultur erfahren haben, gehen wir zurück zu unserem Kleinbus und beenden dann die Tour mit einem Transfer zu Ihrem Hotel.

What a great day trip. Maria was an excellent guide. The banana farms and coffee plantation was such a highlight. And the view from the road was always breathtaking. Would recommend!

This was more expensive than the Gran Canaria Full-Day Tour but shorter and not as good, so I would definitely recommend the Full-Day Tour over this one. There was a hotel pick-up although the actual pick-up times were a lot later than promised, we set off over half an hour late. The church and the Aboriginal archeological site were interesting. The coffee plantation was the same one that I had already visited on the Full-Day Tour, but on that tour, we got to taste coffee, wine and cheese at no extra cost - on this tour, we got coffee, the wine-tasting cost extra and there was no cheese. I notice that another reviewer said that food and drink were at no extra cost - that wasn't the case on the day I went. The tour guide gave us all the information in both Spanish and English, but she didn't break it up and alternate often - she would speak in Spanish sometimes for several minutes so that all the English speakers were totally bored, then when she switched into English, the Spanish people on the trip talked amongst themselves so we often couldn't hear the guide, but she didn't do anything to stop them. The lunch stop 9.50 extra was supposed to be for an hour but most people on the trip the tour guide said, the Spanish contingent were very late returning to the meeting point, which was annoying as those of us back on time could have used the extra time to enjoy ourselves as well, rather than standing by a bus stop with no shade for half an hour. Due to the various delays we were very late being dropped back at the hotel, which the tour guide said was ok because we were on holiday - ignoring the fact that some of us had made plans for after the trip. If I hadn't gone on the Full-Day Tour already, this probably would have seemed better but in comparison I feel generous in giving it 3 stars.

Bruno and Frans were FANTASTIC tour guides! They had a vast amount of historical knowledge of Gran Canaria and all of the villages we visited. They are incredibly inviting and create a comfortable fun-filled environment. Fue un día agradable y divertido. Hubo un cambio en el programa debido a unas fiestas locales, pero Fran, el guía, nos dio opciones para completar la visita. Visitamos una plantación de plátanos. Llevo años yendo a Gran Canaria y en este viaje aprendí mucho con toda la información que Fran nos dió.
