Fabulous Tour and Great Guide!

This was one of the best tours we took on our Eastern Canada/US cruise. Jonathan was a fantastic tour guide who clearly knows (and loves) his city and its history. He is a fabulous guide who kept us engaged and interested for hours. He gets to know your interests and shapes the tour accordingly. We came at the end of the tourist season and he was kind enough to make sure that a restaurant was open for us to go to. We saw much more than just Halifax and Peggy's Cove. Jonathan also made sure that we were up at the fort in time to see the cannon fire... Our friends noted that there were only 2 small tours that made it there for this.

Our guide, Jonathan, was a wealth of knowledge about the area and made the trip special with his stories and humor. He was very focused on providing a great experience and it showed!! He timed our tour to avoid the crowds at Peggy's Cove and allowed ample time at every stop for sightseeing and pictures.

This tour was good. Went to see the gardens, the Titanic cemetery and the pretty Peggy's Cove. Stopped at a local restaurant (Shaw's Landing) and the food was very good! When we booked the tour it stated it would be over at 4pm but we didn't get back until 6pm (was OK with us). Nice coach bus with bathroom was used. Tour guide and bus driver were excellent.

Nice People but bad tour

Jonathan and staff were terrific. Jonathan did all anyone could do to make certain everyone who signed up was on the bus. But stopping at the maple store and staying at Peggy's Cove for an hour, plus leaving late meant we did not see what we paid for as it was dark when we got back to Halifax. The Titanic Museum and graveyard were major aspects of the tour and we just drove past. Will not recommend this tour.

Peggy's Cove is so beautiful, I am so glad we were able to visit this remarkable place. The views are breathtaking, it was hard to leave. It is surely a must-see for travelers to the north east, worth the trip to Nova Scotia. We had a wonderful tour with Jonathan. Can't say enough good things about him. More Halifax With A Touch of Peggy's Cove

Too much time spent on the stops prior to Peggy's Cove that limited the time allowed at Peggy's Cove. The driver was unfamiliar with the route and took a couple of wrong turns further shortening our time at Peggy's Cove. There were way too many busses arriving at the same time causing a crowd of people. Peggy's Cove should be the first stop and if time runs short, skip one of the other stops.
