Das erwartet Sie

Es stehen drei verschiedene Touroptionen zur Auswahl: eine 5-stündige North Shore-Tour, eine 5-stündige South Shore-Tour und eine 9-stündige Circle Island-Tour. Egal für welche Tour Sie sich entscheiden, die Abholung vom Hotel in Waikiki wird veranlasst. Die Touren North Shore und South Shore bieten eine morgendliche und eine nachmittags Abflugzeit, die Circle Island-Tour ist jedoch aufgrund ihrer längeren Länge nur einmal am Tag verfügbar. Das ist also keine Hummer-Tour, sondern ein Mini-Van. Ich habe das zum Geburtstag meiner Frau gebucht. Wir waren enttäuscht, als wir herausfanden, dass es sich um eine Mini-Van-Tour ohne Hummer-Fahrt handelte, wie in der Werbung gezeigt. Der Fahrer hatte viel Wissen über die Show und verlor Ich hatte Teile der Show und konnte viele Orte sehen, an denen die Show gedreht wurde. Das war wirklich schön. Alles in allem war es gut, nur schlechte Werbung

Gute Tour

Es war eine tolle Tour und Dave, unser Reiseleiter, war ausgezeichnet und hilfsbereit. Das einzige Problem, das ich hatte, war, dass ich die Ganztagestour gebucht hatte, die bestätigt wurde, aber bis ich am Tag zuvor die Reisegesellschaft anrief, um die Abholung zu bestätigen, wurde mir gesagt, dass die Tour möglicherweise nicht stattfinden würde, da jemand den falschen Flug gebucht hatte! Dann bot Dave schließlich die halbtägige Tour an, die ich gerne akzeptierte, da der Hauptgrund für die Reise nach Hawaii darin bestand, die Tour zu machen. Dave hat gesagt, dass es eine Rückerstattung geben wird, was hoffentlich auch der Fall sein wird. Ich hoffe, diese Dinge sollten mindestens ein paar Tage vorher bestätigt werden. Bevor ich die Tour buche, habe ich sichergestellt, dass sie am 6. September stattfinden. Einige Hauptorte, auf die ich mich gefreut habe (z. B. der Byodo-Tempel), wurden größtenteils nicht abgedeckt! Es gab auch keine Snacks oder Wasser. Ich habe keine Bedenken, aber diese stehen in der Tourbeschreibung und hätten ohne Aufforderung geschehen sollen! Reiseleiter Dave war ausgezeichnet und hilfsbereit. Er kam auch zurück, um mein Telefon zurückzugeben, das ich im Fahrzeug gelassen hatte. Danke Dave. Die halbtägige Tour war großartig, aber sie hätte besser sein können, ohne dass sich der Kunde damit herumschlagen musste!

I understand that the tour was not ideal because we had to change from the full day Circle Island to the half day North Shore Tour. But please understand that our company only accepts one person reservations, such as yours, when we can place you with another small group, as the cost of conducting a tour is too much to make it cost effective to take just one person on a tour. Your tour was accepted because you could travel with the group that had unfortunately booked their return flight home on the wrong date. They did not discover their mistake until the day prior to your tour. We switched them to the half day tour so they could catch their flight in the late afternoon. We also reduced the cost of their tour to the half day tour price, just like yours. You were offered a complete refund if you did not want the half day tour, but you did accept that tour, which is less expensive and does not include many locations on the full day tour. Because you booked with Viator and not directly with our company, I do not have any direct control of refunds, I can only request one from them and I asked that they switch your cost from the Circle Island Tour to the North Shore Tour which should give you a refund, but they determine the cost. It is always more efficient to book directly with our company, Lost Tours Hawaii. Regarding snacks and water, both are always in our vehicles and you could have asked at any time. And, oh yes, you are welcome for returning your cell phone that you left in our vehicle. With traffic, returning it to you cost me well over half hour of drive time, fuel and traffic headaches, provided at no cost to you. Once again, thank you for taking the time to review our tour. Falsche Beschreibungen und Details

Einen Tag unseres Urlaubs verschwendet, alle Beschreibungen und Bilder, die dieser Tour beigefügt sind, sind nicht wahr. Wir haben 30 Minuten gewartet, bis sie uns abgeholt haben. Wir haben angerufen und sind in Panik geraten, weil wir wussten, ob wir die Tour verpasst haben. Das gezeigte Hummer-Auto ist nicht das, das wir benutzt haben, wir haben einen alten, beschissenen Lieferwagen benutzt, dessen lautes Quietschen aus der Tür unsere Ohren während der ganzen Fahrt gereizt hat. Keine Snacks (in den Details steht, dass Snacks und Wasser bereitgestellt werden). Bitte buchen Sie diese Tour nicht teuer und verschwenden Sie keine Zeit damit, diese Reise mit meiner Familie zu planen. So frustriert. Nur wenn ich eine null Bewertung abgeben kann.

Aloha Michael and thank you for taking the time to review your tour. It is unfortunate that you did not find your tour to be satisfactory. I am the company owner and I drove your tour that day. I remember you specifically, pick up at the Ross. You received a 10 hour Circle Island Tour, with expenses for entry fees into the beautiful Byodo Temple and historic Waimea Valley included in the cost of your tour. Like all our guests, after the Waimea Valley walk and lunch beak you received a bottle of ice cold water from our ice chest, that we carry on all Circle Island Tours, for something cool to drink while driving to our next stop. We do carry snack bars which are provided on request, but with a lunch break, most guests never do ask. You saw nearly the entire island all in one day, plus all those excellent LOST & Movie locations, with lots of stops for great photos of our magnificent scenery. What you refer to as a "crappy old van" is a low mileage, 2017 Mercedes mini van sized vehicle. We specialize in very small group tours, which often turn into private tours. I am the only person who carries the company phone. Both my personal tour confirmation letter and our website clearly says that we pick up at 7AM. You called me at 6:30 wondering where your vehicle was. You also were confused about the pick up location and I made special arrangements, for your convenience, to pick you up at the Ross department store, since you knew where that was located. I understand that this summer in Waikiki has been frustrating for everyone. Restaurants, tours, Pearl Harbor and all the things tourists like to do have been absolutely packed and lines to do everything have been terrible. Even getting food at restaurants has been a challenge. Earlier this summer, at the end of a tour I even took a family of five outside of Waikiki to a restaurant to pick up supper as they had not eaten all day. We always do extra to make our guests comfortable and provide tours that are a good value. It is unfortunate that you did not find our tour to be satisfactory. I hope that the rest of your Hawaiian vacation was better and that you will visit the islands at some point when life is back to normal. Once again, thank you for taking the time to review our tour. Waikiki has been overwhelmed with visitors this summer. Long lines for everything, tours, restaurants, Pearl Harbor, etc. It seems that many more people than normal have come here after COVID and a year of being locked away, and, Hawaii is a very safe pace to visit. This year we have had more people than ever, especially people who booked with Viator, who are not LOST TV show fans. We call ourselves the LOST & Movie tour company for a reason, because that is what we do, we focus on LOST and Movies filmed on Oahu. Many people take our tour each year because we are reasonably priced and drive around different parts of the island and not only talk LOST & Movies, but aspects of Natural History as well. I can say that I have never had a LOST fan take any of our tours and feel that it was a waste of time and money. Most come away with a new understanding of how incredible the minds of the creators of the show were, to find and use all these locations, all over the island and make one of the most popular TV shows in history. And it was almost entirely filmed on this one island alone, not in Australia, or Nigeria, or Thailand. Most of our guests come away with a new appreciation for LOST and Movies filmed here. I may be the owner, but I conduct many of the tours myself and I know the reaction of our guests. That is why I like doing some of the tours myself, it keeps me up to speed with people's reactions and interacting with our guests is fun! At any rate, it is unfortunate that you feel that you did not get a good value. We travel in small vehicles and do not book private tours through Viator. You would need to contact us through our web site Lost Tours Hawaii for that. I am sure anyone can realize that we cannot take two people on a private tour when we can combine small groups that fit adequately in our Dharma Van, a Mercedes mini van. Hummers are small inside and only fit four people comfortably. Our tour confirmation email sent to all guests explains that they may be riding in a Hummer or our Dharma Van. So viel mehr als eine Tour

Das Konzept dieser Tour ist unglaublich, aber die Ausführung ist noch besser. Da LOST buchstäblich auf der ganzen Insel gedreht wurde, werden Sie Orte von einer Spitze der Insel zur anderen besuchen können. Der Führer war voller Informationen über die Show, verschiedene Filme und Shows, aber vor allem über die Insel selbst. Wir haben so viele Dinge gesehen und unser Guide war flexibel und hat mit uns zusammengearbeitet, um Entscheidungen zu treffen, was wir wollten. Wir haben uns dafür entschieden, im Van statt im Hummer abgeholt zu werden, da wir gelesen hatten, dass es einfacher ist, mit dem Van ein- und auszusteigen. Die gesamte Erfahrung war das Geld wert. Wir haben die 9-stündige Tour gemacht. Sie werden überrascht sein über einige der „Magie“ des Films, die während der Dreharbeiten passiert sind.

Our Dharma Van, not exactly a 1970 VW bus as shown on LOST, but a newer Mercedes mini-van sized vehicle with Dharma logos all around, much more comfortable than an old VW bus. During the COVID crisis, all tours are private tours with masks to enhance safety and social distancing. We have designed all the tours to be a combination of LOST and Movies and an in-depth review of Hawaiian Natural History, such a geology, formation of the islands, plants, birds animals, Hawaiian and military history and general sightseeing as we drive around Oahu. One does not need to be a fan of LOST to enjoy the tour. As LOST was filmed almost entirely on this one island each tour will have many of your favorite LOST locations with many famous movie locations included always filmed at the most beautiful locations on Oahu. Diese Tour. war. genial! Greg war unser Führer und er hat einen phänomenalen Job gemacht. Er ist so kenntnisreich und wirft seine eigenen Anekdoten über seine Zeit in Hawaii und die Arbeit am Set von Lost ein. We were picked up in the Dharma Mercedes van right in front of our hotel and right on time. Dave was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the TV show Lost, and took us to so many of the places that were important to the show. He always offered to take pictures of us. He frequently offered waters, snacks and bathroom breaks when needed. We did the 9 hour tour and it was a very long day but worth it to see everything. Would highly recommend if you’re a big Lost fan like us.

Aloha and thank you for the kind review. You are absolutely correct, it is a very long day. But, in that day you see the vast majority of the island and most of your favorite filming locations from the TV show LOST and some older and newer movies that were filmed on the island of Oahu. I have tried to make the tour more than just a LOST tour by including a lot of information about various aspects of Natural History, such as plants, birds, animals, geology, formation of the islands and military and Hawaiian history as we drive around the island. It is a good tour for LOST as well as non-Lost fans as well. After taking our tour, there is no reason to take any other sightseeing type tours on Oahu. All tours are either very small group or private tours. Once again, thank you for taking our tour and hope to see you again someday in the future. Mahalo, Dave Atkins
