Nachdem Sie von Ihrem Hotel in Waikiki abgeholt wurden, begeben Sie sich auf den Circle Island Drive. Halten Sie Ihre Kamera griffbereit, während Sie in die Koʻolau-Berge hinauffahren, vom Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout aus über die hawaiianischen Inseln blicken und den Byodo-In-Tempel besuchen.

Fahren Sie weiter zur North Shore, wo Sie die Möglichkeit haben, Küstenstädte wie Banzai Pipeline und Sunset Beach zu erkunden, die atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Waimea Bay zu genießen und den Surfern beim Wellenreiten zuzusehen. Schlechter Kundenservice nach der Tour

Obwohl wir die Abholung vom Best Western Hotel von Viator schriftlich bestätigt bekamen hat man uns dort nicht abgeholt, wir mußten mit dem Taxi zu einem anderen Hotel fahren. Die Erstattung der Taxikosten hat man mehrfach abgelehnt. Die Tour war ganz ok und man hat uns zum Glück zumindest zu unserem Hotel zurückgefahren .

Good Around the Island Tour

Good tour if you have limited time and want to get a taste of what the island has to offer. Our guide Moma was amazing!!! She kept telling us about legends, stories as we drove around the island. Food stop was yummy as well, the meal was included. We got chicken (9) and salt and pepper shrimp (10). Our salt and pepper shrimp was medium spicy. Keep that in mind if you pick a spicy shrimp option. I was told by 2 other bus riders that their meal was really spicy (they got spicy shrimp box) , they were loosing taste buds, however very delicious. 😁. We also saw family of mongoose there at the end of busses parking area. I wish we had more time to explore though especially in Dole Pineapple plantation. 30min stop is not enough to do a train ride nor a maze, make sure you go see the garden behind the gift shop before standing in lines for food or snacks in the little restaurant and gift shop. If you get food get a to go lid right away as you pick up the food. Another thing in the botanical garden even though you will have about 1.5h to explore, you will have to pick it you want to swim in the waterfall or explore the park, not enough time for both. There were free life jackets by a waterfall (tip welcome), and a lifeguard. The hike to the waterfall is about 20min without stopping, one way. If you pick a little tram to take you the cost was $10 per person each way.

A great day on the island. Our tour guide - Big Tony - was exceptional. Very knowledgeable about Hawaii and kept us entertained and informed between stops. Each stop had something different and informative to offer. The only minor complaint is not spending more time at the Dole Plantation. Maybe less time swimming at the waterfall?

There was hilarious commentary, slowpokes doing the hula dance, and lots of vignettes shared on our journey. My wife has never visited Hawaii before and I thought this would be a good introduction to Oahu. She liked that it was a small group with diverse types of stopping points and Deno the guide was very approachable and made you feel like you were hosted by a local. Also, the wife fulfilled a lifelong dream to visit a pineapple plantation and be photographed with a pineapple plant and those pictures will be in the honeymoon album!

Best tour EVER!! This was my husband and I's first trip to Hawaii and so we wanted to gain as much knowledge about the island as possible. So glad we booked this tour as we got to learn and experience so much of what it has to offer! From the moment we got on the bus Eric (Keoke) was welcoming, high energy and just made our day so enjoyable. Growing up in the area, his background and expertise of the island was just amazing! Our driver and guide, Big Tony, was incredibly filled with knowledge and love for the island which showed in how he took the time to explain everything and not just our stops. The lookout had amazing views, the waterfall was beautiful, everything down to the lunch stop was perfectly timed and coordinated but we never felt rushed. I would highly recommend this tour.
