Dear Nancy
Aloha
With all due respect, what you wrote is so sad and disappointing; honestly, it is evident that you are not from America. You need to be clearer about what you are talking about and help understand what you wrote. You do not even know what you bought from us.
You bought a simple tour of the USS Arizona Memorial, the cheapest we have. We upgraded you complimentary to the most expensive tour we have, which is double the price of what you paid. Upon your arrival to Honolulu, you have been picked up as an upgrade with a luxury vehicle instead of a van as part of a tiny group of 6 instead of 14 people from Honolulu port. On the arrival time to Pearl Harbor, your reserve USS Arizona Memorial ticket was given to your hand. A cold bottle of water was given to each of you. You entered Pearl Harbor and did your tour without staying in line. On the way back, at the time of pick up, your guide/chauffeur gave you a cold bottle of tropical juice. He did a short Honolulu historical city tour and, at the time, stopped at Honolulu historical downtown and gave you a pack of snacks for each of you. He also gave you a Hawaiian wall calendar as a gift. At the time of drop-off, he gave you a Pearl Harbor t-shirt as a gift. What more do you want? Was anything else written on your confirmation that the agent sent to you at the time of purchase? Is there any other company in Hawaii doing all these things?
You had the most wonderful guide and chauffeur with a big smile that everyone loves, and you are writing an invalid one-star review for him! What a shame.
You booked a historical tour of Pearl Harbor, and you want us to take you to the beaches? You said you expected us to swing by the beach for a peek! You did not book a beach or island tour. You may need help understanding the difference between history and nature tours, or someone may need to read the confirmation you received from the tour agency. It is evident that you did not read it, or if you read it, you could not understand it.
You wrote: we thought we could stop for a bite to eat! We are sorry that you may think about many things you wish or dream about. Those will not come true just because you dream about them. This tour is spelled out from A to Z, and you received everything you were supposed to, plus some that were not even mentioned, such as snacks, a Hawaiian calendar, etc. We have added this recently to make our clients happy, and it is not written as part of the tours we sell. If you wish and dream about something not part of our tour or any other company's tour, you must understand that your wish is yours and will not come true. You came to Honolulu on a cruise where all food is typically included. Based on this fact and your happy wishes and dreams, you think everyone has to provide food to you even if food is not part of the package you bought, as your confirmation clearly shows that food is not included. And because it is not included, you write a false, fake, unrelated, unfair one-star review. What a shame!
You wrote that we stopped at Honolulu historical downtown for a few minutes in front of a building. What do you expect? To enter Hawaii's Kings' and royal palace and stay there for a night? On the package you purchased, is there anything more than a short stop?
You wrote: I drove to the Punch Bowl and could not leave the vehicle. I just did a drive-by! The government runs the National Cemetary of the Pacific at Punchbowl, and there is a large 3 X 3-foot sign stating that tour companies cannot stop inside the cemetery; they can only slowly drive through. Besides that, the drivers always explain to our clients at that time, and you heard from him why he cannot stop—writing this online as a complaint makes it clear that you do not have a valid complaint. You want to write something, and it does not matter whether it makes sense or not. You want to hurt people who serve you. What a shame.
All staff in the office and people who service you directly or indirectly are so disappointed in you and your unfair and non valid review of yours. It is evident that you do not understand the value of quality, and that is why you wrote that we should have purchased our $11 tickets and $5 bus fare instead.
For you, a public bus with 50-75 people inside with the smell of a bathroom that charges $5 a head and stops at 20 different places, taking two hours to get to point B and taking the same amount of time to return to Honolulu and a luxury SUV with a total of 6 people in your tour which was an upgrade for you is the same quality and looks the same!
All our clients love us for what we do, and we have never had someone write such an unfair and unrelated review about us in the past.
Ultimately, we wish you and your family members who attended our tour a healthy and long life. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to serve you.
