Ein einmaliges Erlebnis!

Unglaublich tolle Tour! Wirklich magisch. Man fährt mit der Dampflok über die weltberühmte Harry Potter Brücke (Glenfinnan Viaduct) und fühlt sich wie im Film. Die Stunden vergehen sehr schnell und man reist zu vielen tollen Orten.

Tolle Tagestour (ca. 12 Stunden) mit freundlichem Guide durch die Schottischen Highlands. Abholung in Inverness - kurzer Fotostopp in Urquhart Castle - Einstieg in den Dampfzug in Fort William - 2 Std. Fahrt mit dem Zug durch eine wunderschöne Landschaft (inkl. Glenfinnan-Viadukt) - Endstation und Mittagessen im Fischerdörfchen Mallaig - Rückfahrt im Kleinbus mit Fotostopp am Viadukt (mit Warten auf den Zug) - Spätkaffee im hübschen Fort Augustus - abschließender Stopp am Loch Ness.

The scenery was spectacular! The Jacobite train journey was unforgettable. Our guide, Harrison, kept us entertained with stories and history. And Hamish brought us sunshine! 😁

If you are a Harry Potter fan, this is your penultimate experience. To ride the Hogwarts Express. The scenery was magnificent tho for me, (not an HP fan) the journey itself was only average. The rest of the trip was good tho...lots of stops to see sites on the way and on the way back.

We were really looking forward to this tour as I have a love of steam. The train broke down and we had to return to Fort William. Our tour guide Iain was waiting for us at our destination but due to miscommunication was not fully aware of our troubles. As the tour was running behind we were given no time to grab lunch and were treated a little like naughty school children which added an uncomfortable atmosphere. I understand these tours are time sensitive but we were not at fault for the delay. We managed to.just catch the train returning over the viaduct which was a bonus however on the return to Inverness we were dropped off at a different point as we were late. Glad we did the tour but our memories are tarnished by the way we were treated.

The train ride and reliving the Hogwarts Express experience was the highlight. The photo op of the Glennfinnen viaduct was a bit far for good photos. A shortened tour would have been preferable. 12 hrs is a long day.

Alana did a great job with her bus load of tourists. . She gave us a wee bit of local history, stopped frequently for photo ops and got us where we needed to be when we needed to be there. Highly recommended!

Lovely guide, amazing weather and wonderful picture spots, it's definitely worth the money, cause you get to be on the train for two hours and have a 10 hour roundtrip around the Glen, the Highlands and Loch Ness!

Had wonderful tour. Booked for the Hogwarts train however the tour was very informative and fun. Unfortunately I forgot our guides name but she was excellent driver .

Train ride was nice but we booked a table for four and without assigned seating we were not able to sit together. Trip was about two hours too long. The tour guide was great, very knowledgeable. We also rode for most of the trip in the back of the bus which was very uncomfortable and bumpy. Not quite what we expected.

The weather wasn’t the best and it was hard to see the scenery until we discovered we could open the windows between the cars. We all took turns taking pictures and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

If I could give this a ZERO I would. Mostly because even though it says completed we however did not complete this tour. We had out our booked for September 30th. We were flying into Inverness September 29th. We were flying from Spain with a connecting flight in London Gatwick- our flight when we arrived in Gatwick had been cancelled. There were NO flights to Inverness that night. Not from gatwick, or Heathrow. We tried so hard to get to Inverness. Not only were we stranded, but we had to come out of pocket for a hotel room that night and pay for a whole new flight to Inverness the next morning (that’s beside the point) As soon as we knew we could not get there, we immediately called Viator. No one would pick up. So we emailed. We went back and forth through WhatsApp and emails and they very clearly told us they would not refund us or reschedule us because it was less than 24hrs. This was BEYOND OUT OF OUR CONTROL and we weren’t even asking for a refund, we just wanted the tour rescheduled for Saturday the 1st. It was by far the worst experience with a tour company. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. STAY VERY CLEAR. they only care about making money and nothing else. Thankfully we have travelers insurance with our cc company and will get a refund. But shame on these people. Unforeseen circumstances happen.
