Had an amazing day- we really liked out with the weather and Emma was an amazing guide, she was so informative and made sure we got the most amazing stops on our route. Will definitely do this tour again one day!

Beautiful scenery, but tour guide was quiet and failed to bring area and history to life.

Eileen Donan Castle was everything you could want in a Scottish castle. Gorgeously situated. Skye was scenic, but tour guide, Iain, had nothing to say about it. No facts, no history, no stories. Bonnie Prince Charlie and Flora McDonald were not mentioned, disappointing. Could have been so much better.

We had an Isle of Skye tour with guide Willie and we had a fantastic time. It was the best tour we took. The guide had great commentary and stopped the coach frequently enough at stops that were both scenic and had refreshments. The frequent stops made it so we were never bored or fell asleep. Of course, Isle of Skye was gorgeous and we hit all the top attractions on the tour. 5/5 for this tour and Willie.

While you can’t truly see Isle of Skye in a day from Inverness, if you only have a day—this is the way to go! Emma, our guide, was fantastic. She has a wonderful balance of history, advice, music, and also quiet time. You really do see so much on this 12 hr tour. I think it’s a great itinerary and it’s really nice to only have a relatively small group. Skye is crazy busy in the high season, so I’m really glad we didn’t have to navigate it ourselves and we learned a lot more having a guide.

Iain was amazing, and even though we didn’t get to visit Kilt Rock, the other locations he brought us to more than made up for it. Whether it’s for the views, history, folk lore, or more, I couldn’t recommend this tour more!

Guide was an excellent driver also very knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed the short walk through the woods to the summer house and waterfall, stops along the way to take in the views, opportunity to stop at the castle. Seats were comfortable, toilet stops appreciated. We do not take many tours but this one gave us the chance to see a lot in one day, in an area we would not have been able to see on our own.

Our driver was Emma. Despite being on the job for only a month, she was a fountain of knowledge and very personable. She drove, entertained, informered, and kept us safe. It takes most of the day to go there and back, but it’s very scenic and definitely worthwhile.
