Lovely stops. Loch Ness, Castle Eilean Donan, (the rain and weather canceled the boat trip on the Loch) and still a lovely day. Bonus stop to see a heilan coo was fun! Lunch and shopping at Campbell’s. Harrison was VERY knowledgeable of all our sites and more. He was so fun and engaging. Whiskey stop was great and then Culloden and the Clava Cairns which were mystical and fun. Very worthwhile.

We had a great tour. Ian was our guide. He shared a lot of history and was very clear with instructions on how to get to/from our next location back to the bus. Very approachable with questions and the tour sites were great.

This tour was named after the TV series that we loved and therefore thought we would get a tour guide who would incorporate that story to the venues we visited. We were hugely disappointed, in nine hours the show was mentioned once.

The Loch Ness cruise, tour of Urquhart Castle, the Culloden Battlefield Exhibition and the Highland Whisky Experience were a lot of fun and educational. Iain made the day that much more enjoyable with his stories and knowledge of the past.

I can honestly say this is the best tour I have ever taken. Emma, our guide, was a knowledgeable and fun to talk to. The day had no stress. Everything was planned out. You were given the perfect amount of time at each location. Since the group is small, it was easy to meet other travelers. Recommendations were given for the rest of your stay. I cannot say enough good things. I wanted to go on the same tour again the next day.

Pickup was easy to find and our tour guide Emma was great! She gave us lots of information as well as instructions throughout the day. Honestly, it was a wonderfully paced day- the Loch Ness cruise was so fun, exploring the castle was great- and we even stopped at a cute little shop/farm to see some Highland Cows and Alpacas!! Emma also gave us great suggestions on other things to do in the area after the tour, as well as recommendations for lunch and dinner! The afternoon was just as lovely, visiting the battlefields and the stones! Highly recommend!!

The driver and our guide were very friendly and informative. They went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed the experience. At each site we visited they gave us lots of information if we wanted it, but also we were free to wander at will. We visited The Clava Cairns, Culloden, Beauly, a cruise on the river Ness to Urquahart Castle where we were picked up for the drive back to Inverness. I would highly recommend this tour.
