Das erwartet Sie

Tauchen Sie ein in die Wasserwunder des Hanalei River und der Hanalei Bay, während Sie einige der malerischsten Landschaften von Kauai erkunden. Treffen Sie Ihren lokalen Reiseleiter am Abfahrtsort in der Nähe des Hanalei-Flusses, steigen Sie dann in ein Doppelkajak und starten Sie Ihren gemütlichen Paddelabgang. Auf dem Weg dorthin können Sie die friedliche Atmosphäre und die Landschaft mit Tarofeldern und tropischen Wäldern genießen.

Nach ca. 45 Minuten Kajakfahrt steigen Sie an der schönen Hanalei-Bucht aus und legen eine kleine Pause ein. Bewundern Sie die spektakuläre Aussicht auf die Bucht, berühmt geworden durch den Film South Pacific von 1958, und erfahren Sie mehr über die uralten hawaiianischen Feuerwerfungszeremonien, die vom dramatischen Makana Peak aus durchgeführt werden.

Ziehen Sie eine Schnorchelmaske und Flossen auf und tauchen Sie anschließend in das warme türkisfarbene Wasser der Hanalei Bay Reef Lagoon. Erkunden Sie die Riffformationen unter Wasser und halten Sie Ausschau nach hawaiianischen Meereslebewesen wie brillanten tropischen Fischen und Meeresschildkröten. Sie haben auch die Möglichkeit, die sanften Wellen der Bucht mit einem Seekajak zu fahren, wenn Sie möchten. Beenden Sie Ihre 5-stündige Tour mit einer weiteren kurzen Kajakfahrt und einer Rückfahrt zum ursprünglichen Ausgangspunkt.

Spaß im Norden von Kauai

Web macht viel Spaß und ist geduldig, das Mittagessen war gut, sehr schöne Ausrüstung. Wir gingen zu einem guten Ort zum Schnorcheln und Schwimmen, obwohl wir Anfang März kamen und das Wasser an den meisten Stränden rau war - Web wusste, wohin er eine Menge Leute bringen sollte, die nicht mit dem Meer vertraut waren, wie er ist. Die Reise den Hanalei hinauf war friedlich, hübsch und sehr angenehm. Wassergetränke und Unterstützung waren immer verfügbar. Für jemanden, der zu Hause in einem See Kajaks fährt, war es ein wenig besorgniserregend, ins Meer zu gehen, aber Web hat uns in Sicherheit gebracht und in einem Teil der Hanalei-Bucht, der an der Mündung der Hanalei-Bucht und des Hanalei-Flusses sehr ruhig war. Als jemand mit schweren Knieverletzungen war ich ein wenig besorgt, aber es war kein Problem mit Web! Tolle Gesellschaft, toller Führer

Jay was knowledgeable about the island and entertained us with much info along the way. The river had floating flowers and I thought it was so pretty. We braved the waves in the bay and paddled to Hideaway beach. Didn’t capsize, although we were warned we should expect it. Success!

Great group kayak adventures!

Great tour today! We did the Hanalei River and Bay Snorkel tour with Harrison. Small group of 6, so 3 kayaks. Everybody super friendly. Harrison connected well with the group, knew the area well and made everyone feel great. Tour was fun, even if the ocean is a bit bumpy this time of year, but we were in good hands. Visibility not great for the snorkeling, but more than made up by lots of close encounters with turtles, and a great guide. Highly recommend!

Great fun kayaking!

This was a kind of adventure kayaking out of the river into the ocean! We had a lot of fun kayaking but the snorkeling conditions were a little murky. They cannot control the weather and water conditions though so I don’t hold that against them.

Amazing tour

Tour guides were super cool, very knowledgeable about the island and the history. Up and down the river about a mile or so, nice paddle into the ocean and waves and back to a beach for some snorkeling. Then back to landing. Whole trip took about 5 hours.

Best Day in Kauai

Best adventure we did during our week in Kauai! Guides Jay and Sam were super cool and friendly. Kayaking was a blast, beach and snorkeling were amazing, lunch was great, and the owner of the company even met with everyone and visited!! Perfect day! We had our 2 boys (18 & 20) with us and it was their favorite day of the trip! We would highly recommend it!! The owner is a pioneer and legend in sea kayaking and the guides follow suite!

It rained the whole trip, snorkeling wasn’t great, but Mike and Ray made the trip very enjoyable. They made sure everyone knew how to kayak as a team and even helped us to a further spot for better snorkeling (it was a bit) and somewhat out of the rain.

When it is sunny guiding is often easier, but when it rains the challenge is still have a good time when the weather is less than perfect.
