      Kauai self driving tour...excellent!

      This is an excellent and inexpensive way to see Kauai if you have never been and you are trying to figure out what to do first. We stayed in Kapa'a and did the south and west side before we got this. Our time was limited and this would have been nice b/c he gives you time to travel to different sites from your location. We only had a few days. The next day we hit the north and east side. Start early if you hit before afternoon showers. A little history thrown in. Nice job!

      Great Alternative to Group Tours

      I will always check for one of these self guided tours when my wife and I go on vacation. We have taken a number of group tours over the years. However, if we are in a place where it is easy to drive, we much prefer being on our own versus group tours. We saw (and learned about) everything we wanted to see and nothing we didn't.

      For a 70+ s-citizen this was very easy to download at our hotel prior to driving. It was also very user friendly during our frequent stops for swimming at different beaches along the drive. The roads are often unmarked and tricky in the rural parts of Kauai so the tour audio was super useful.

      Just the fun narrative of the island. Great history. Funny and no matter where we turned it picked right up and continued where we were. I'd give it 10 stars if I could! It's like being on a hop on hop off bus in the privacy of your own car!
