A Fabulous Day Out. Hugely entertaining.

At just over 6 hours, this is one of the shorter tours in Hawaii, but it certainly didn't disappoint. Kaleo, our guide for the day, made sure everyone felt welcome from the outset and had icebreaker activities to get everyone talking to each other within minutes. The small group size was an advantage. Kaleo was also extremely prepared in advance. His move clips and stories were hugely entertaining and provided context and interest throughout the tour. His purpose was to educate as well as entertain and he didn't disappoint on either count. Kauai is a stunningly beautiful island, so whilst you do not get to see all of it on this tour, you do get to see some beautiful locations including waterfalls, river valleys and quaint little towns. I wasn't familiar with some of the movies, especially the later ones, but it didn't matter as the movie clips showed you what you were seeing and were entertaining. This was a thoroughly enjoyable tour and Kaleo made it so. 10/10

Loved watching the movie clips and then visiting the actual locations in the clips. I was amazed at the number of movies that were filmed on Kauai! Our guide was easy to understand and gave us some fun insights into the productions and locations. I would highly recommend this tour.

Stopping where they did some scenes from the movies to take pictures was awesome. Our driver played short clips where the films were made and it was so cool once we stopped to see the actual sights, Definitely a fun experience would highly recommend this tour, The only down fall was when we went into town to do shopping and lunch we only had an hour when the tour mentions 2 hours, but some of the people on the bus only wanted 1 hour which wasn’t fair to the ones who wanted more, we wanted to try a restaurant from a clip but was a little wait and we only had an hour, But the tour was really cool for all ages,,,,

We were picked up 45 min late. There was a delay with previous pickup. The driver didn’t introduce herself, as it turns out she was the tour guide as well. She finally did when asked. However it was an awesome tour and we really enjoyed it. Saw many interesting and beautiful places where movies were filmed. Especially liked the beach where the South Pacific Bloody Mary scene was filmed. Quite disappointed that we were not given a copy of the list of movies and places where they were filmed. Guide said their printer was broken but didn’t offer to email it to us.
