This kayak and hiking trip was absolutely amazing! Seeing Kuai from the kayak was amazing. The hike was awesome and beautiful as well! Not a hard hike! Our guide Sweet T was awesome! Very knowledgeable, had a great personality and even gave a list of great places to eat on the island. Highly recommend this excursion when on the island!!!

Finding our group was rough at the start, but they will wait as long as they can so be prompt, but don't stress too much. Wonderful experience. Grrat for the whole family. Would highly recommend it. Ask for Kali
Grueling pace

The tour was good BUT, the pace was ridiculous! We are senior citizens and trying to keep up with 30 something or younger made the trip grueling. We would have preferred a slower pace with time to take in the sites. We are experienced hikers and kayakers but this whole trip was unpleasant due to the roller coaster pace. Our guide Sam was very patient and encouraging but should have accommodated for older travelers. We were the only seniors on the trip. I will never take on the trip again.

Beautiful area but pace was faster than us

This is an adventure better suited to stronger persons. We were constantly trying to keep up with the group. There were several stops along the river for stories about the area, but by the time we reached the spot he was finished with his story and the group moved on. Which meant we missed all the stories (which is what we look forward to on “tours”) and never got to rest. We are older - but perfectly capable to do the physical activity - however we aren’t as strong and couldn’t paddle as fast. We needed a bit slower pace to have thoroughly enjoyed all there was to experience.

We had a great time. Kai and Jonah were our guides and they did a great job. Even handling a couple ladies that wouldn’t take direction from them on how to operate the kayak. The overall tour was about 4-5 hours. The waterfall was very nice and refreshing (73 degrees). The paddle back is a little more challenging due to wind but still fun. The hike is very flat except for a few locations that require a little more coordination. Kai and Jonah provide historical information about the island along the way.

Nice relaxing trip up the creek with a paddle!!! Very cool hike through the bush to the waterfall. Lono was an excellent guide and his local knowledge was fantastic.

It was a very fun adventure. As we were kayaking to the hiking start point it started pouring down cats and dogs. It was fun but make sure you have water proof bags as they aren't provided. The hike is on the demanding side but an 80+ yo man was able to do it with a ton of help and patience. Paddling back was against the wind so be prepared for a nice workout. All of it was worth it. The sights were stunning and my tour guide Kala was very knowledgeable.

Our trip to the falls was great. Our guide was friendly and helpful. The falls were beautiful and the adventure was so much fun! Would recommend this to anyone who wants to get off the beaten path a bit and see more of Kauai.

This was super fun! The river is beautiful and the hike through the jungle was awesome. The waterfall itself was very busy but it was cool to see up close. The kayaking was harder on the way back then on the way there. Hike was very easy. Our guide lono was awesome. Wear sunscreen!!
One of a Kind Adventure

I highly recommend for adventurers at heart. Meeting point was easy to find with ample space for parking, and the event was well organized for a large group which was split in smaller groups for a more intimate experience. Our tour guide Kmana was super chill and very knowledgeable on the routes and history of the island. The kayaking through the river was fun and revealed many photo-worthy views. The hike through the forest and rivers was easy with the right gear. And of course my favorite part was the secret waterfall! We wore water shoes with thick traction for hiking over rocks and muddy terrain, and also to move around the waterfall area. It’s slippery at times, but pick up the homemade walking sticks provided to help with balance. Swim trunks are recommended to soak in the waterfall. We were fine with water bottles and a light snack midway before the return. Leave dry clothes and towels at your vehicle to change into after.

The tour guides were super nice and made it an awesome experience. The river and scenery was so beautiful. The hike is perfect not too hard and beautiful scenery along the way. The fall is worth seeing. This was such a great exercise and experience for the entire family.

Hike was gorgeous. Falls were underwhelming. Guide was too soft spoken and really only spoke to first 4 people in group. If you were stuck near back, too bad, this tour was apparently not for you.

If I could leave 10 stars I would! Can’t pronounce his 28 character name but he was so informative and great! He took his time to instill us with knowledge of the plants, the island, and it’s people. Very humerus , No rush at all to get home, “ he did say he had 4 kids to get home back to” lol! I will definitely come back and even spend more time on the island God willing!
