Die Lavafelder waren sehr beeindruckend, eine absolute Todeszone. Die Tour war super organisiert und die Fahrt mit dem Tweezy war ein absoluter Spaß Faktor.

Wir kamen an, um eine Reihe von zwielichtigen Autos zu sehen, insgesamt waren wir 10 das einzige englischsprachige Paar in der Gruppe, aber wir fühlten uns jeden Teil des Tages, es war der Höhepunkt unserer ersten Reise nach Lanazrote, dem Twizy Hervorragend war, dass wir einen Teil der Insel gesehen haben, den wir nicht in einem Mietwagen oder einem Tourbus haben konnten, vom Nationalpark, Weingut und Kraterwanderung, wir fühlten uns auf einem anderen Planeten, sehr zu empfehlen

We were looked after so well. The whole tour from start to finish gave us a real adventure as a group of 8. Something for all of us, the tour round the volcano was amazing and we loved the little stops for tapas on the way. Would thoroughly recommend.

Landscape is Worth Seeing

The tour started almost a hour late, however once we got going it was a nice tour. The Twizy cars are fun, however you only drive them for about 1 hour out of the entire 5-hour tour. The amount of time at the different stops was perfect. We enjoyed the volcano crater and driving through Timanfaya park (drive is via bus though). The landscape is other wordly.

We loved this trip and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Lanzarote. Like other reviewers, we were the only English couple in a German group but the tour guide was brilliant and made sure to tell us everything individually either before or after. We visited places we wouldn’t have known to go to if we’d simply hired a car. Visiting Timanfaya was incredible, like being on Mars!

Driving the Twizy was fun! I somehow ended up joining a German speaking tour but the tour guide was accommodating. You could do a similar trip by car and bus (a bus is part of the Twizy tour too)

It was a fun experience....the guide spoke mainly German and as most of the group were German we felt left out as she spent most of the time with them but it didn’t spoil it. It was cold so doors on the Twizy would have been nice but again didn’t spoil it..

My partner and I did this tour and it was absolutely amazing and we loved being able to drive ourselves in the twizy cars. Also our tour guide was exceptional
A must-do Lanzarote experience

During my search for a tour through the Timanfaya National Park I came across the possibility to do the tour with an electric Twizy. Instead of sitting in a touringcar, spending most of the time collecting all tour members from the hotels, it is great fun to drive yourself in an electric Twizy. Our guide 'Dietmar from Tirol' is an excellent host! With a lot of humor, interest in his guests and knowledge of all we have seen/visited it was a day we all liked very much (me, my wife, daughter and son, all with drivers licence) We left just before nine o'çlock from the Ego homebase in Purte del Carmen and drove to the Timanfaya NP. There we took the bustour which is very interesting and offers nice views for taking pictures. Of course also the demonstrations to show the hot lava temperatures just below the surface. After this visit, the tour continues to visit a winery for a (payed) tasting, or something to drink/eat. This is also an opportunity to feed the Twizy's with some electric power needed to complete the tour. The last visit is a walk to the crater of “El Cuervo” after which we were headed to Puerto del Carmen; the end of the Tour. It was great fun, absolutely no hurry, and highly recommended with many credits to our guide!!

Déçus mais site magnifique à voir absolument

Ce n’est pas du tout 5h de twizy en toute autonomie ! Vous restez en groupe. Nous nous sommes retrouvés dans un groupe germanique. La guide nous traduisait en anglais seulement si nous demandions. vous conduisez 30mn, allez visiter un très beau volcan à pied car domaine protégé. Ensuite on repart pour aller recharger les voitures qui ont déjà perdu 50% de leur autonomie dans une bodega. Il faut attendre une heure. On vous propose de déguster du vin moyennant 10€ par personne mais il n’y a aucune obligation. Ensuite on repart pour 20mn de twizy jusqu’à un rond point où un car touristique nous attend ! Et on fait un peu plus d’une heure en car dans le parc timanfaya. Nous avons eu la visite audio en allemand avec une musique d’ambiance apocalyptique qui allait très bien avec le paysage. C’était magnifique mais nous n’avons finalement eu aucune explication. Ceux qui ont peur en car en montagne, je déconseille vivement. L’avantage néanmoins : nous n’attendons pas, les cars sont prioritaires et il y a des embouteillages dans le parc et nous pouvons visiter des parties inaccessibles aux voitures. Au final, bilan mitigé, déçus car nous avions réservé pour la visite en toute autonomie et parce que nous n’avons pas eu de visite guidée du parc en anglais ou français. Site magnifique. Attention le prix ne comprend pas l’entrée du parc (12€ adulte et 6€ enfant) et le prix sur viator est pour une personne par voiture, si vous avez vos enfants avec vous c’est en fait plus cher. Conduite de la twizy très sympa.
