    Schöner Tagesausflug nach Sintra und CasCais. Pe a Palace war etwas nervig, da man in der Schlange bleiben musste, um durch das Schloss zu gelangen. Kein Mäandern. Hugo hat großartige Arbeit geleistet, uns auf unterhaltsame Weise zu unterrichten.

    Hugo war ein erstaunlicher Führer voller Geschichte und Geschichten. Ich würde diese tolle Tour auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Wir waren überwältigt von der Schönheit Sintras

    Sintra war wunderschön und der Palast glich eher einem Museum, also war das in Ordnung. Unser Gastgeber und Fahrer Hugo wusste viel über die Geschichte des Ortes und Portugals. Die Stopps waren malerisch.
    Tolle Tour, die man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte.

    Hugo war absolut wunderbar. Seine Ausbildung konzentriert sich auf europäische Geschichte und verfügt über eine Fülle von Informationen. Wir haben viel über die Kultur und Geschichte Portugals gelernt.

    Dies war eine schöne und erschwingliche Möglichkeit, einen Eindruck von Cascais und Sintra, einschließlich des Pena-Palastes, zu bekommen. Unser Reiseveranstalter Ivo war schnell, professionell und aufmerksam. Ich hoffe, dass Viator in Zukunft darüber nachdenkt, die Reiseroute anzupassen, um mehr Zeit in Cascais und im Pena-Palast zu verbringen. Es gab in kurzer Zeit so viel zu sehen.

    We had a great day and really appreciated our driver Ivo 😀. He provided so much information and made us feel very safe with his great driving. He went above and beyond to offer a great experience during every part of this tour. This tour was beautiful but we especially liked Cascais. This quaint town was so pretty and we really enjoyed the opportunity to have 2 hrs to enjoy the local cuisine and explore the shops. A great way to spend our last day in Portugal Note: The trek up to Pena Palace was not easy. Have really good shoes with good treads!!

    We enjoyed the commentary from Joachim but then the van broke down and we lost him. After that the trip was by a guide who spoke no English and put the radio on. The castle was extremely crowded. Cascais was too long which made the trip to Lisbon very busy , rush hour. Very disappointed

We hold ourselves to high standards of service and clearly, in this case, we fell short. To address your concerns specifically: Van Breakdown: We've thoroughly investigated the reason for the unexpected breakdown of our van. I assure you that such issues are highly unusual for us, and we are taking all necessary steps to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Replacement Driver: The driver who took over was not one of our regular drivers and was called upon in an emergency situation. Unfortunately, he did not meet the high standards we set for our company in terms of language proficiency and customer service. Please be assured that we will no longer be working with this driver. Overcrowding at the Castle: We understand that the crowded conditions at the castle diminished your experience. This is an issue we are currently reviewing to improve the timing and planning of our tours. Time Spent in Cascais: We acknowledge the timing in Cascais was too long, which consequently made the return trip to Lisbon more hectic. We are re-evaluating our schedule to offer a better-paced experience for our guests. Your feedback is crucial for us, and we're committed to making the necessary improvements to ensure this does not happen in the future.     Hugo was an excellent driver and guide. He was full of information about the history of Portugal, Lisboa and Sintra, etc. and also provided numerous humorous anecdotes. The Peña Palace was certainly a highlight and the beaches of Cascais were unexpected and nice. I was also fortunate to travel with a number of very nice people that I met for the very first time. All in all a very memorable day and experience.

    Hugo was a great guide, informative, very personable, & fun sense of humor! Sintra is very quaint. Lunch in Cascais was delightful. Pena Palace is a steep climb, worth the effort, but suggest informing guests that a separate ticket is required if you want to ride the bus. We had a terrific day. Thank you!

    Good tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Too short a stay in Sintra. Wish we had skipped Peña Palace. Crowds crazy and not worth the wait and effort to get up to the palace. Cacais was awesome but not enough time there. Next time would find a tour that only did Sintra and Cascais and ‘the end of the earth’ so we were able to see more of those great places.

    Really enjoyed seeing the palace, but the line was so long. We had a timed entry slot, but we didn't go in as we would have waited over an hour. Our bus driver said it wasn't worth the wait.

    This was the worst tour of my whole stay in Portugal To start the guide/driver is too talkative and over confident,talking irrelevant. Vehicle in bed condition, we sat cramped, it was noisy with some loose items in the trunk that were pointed out to him We arrived 10 minutes before 830 our meeting time , he claimed it was 815 , he never recieved any indication Things were not explained properly ahead of time , pena castle the highlight of the trip was rushed through in one hour , it was very busy with long lines There was a older couple that didn’t even attempt to go as they were not explained to in advance We were a total of eight in this rickety Van , 5 of us left the trip at Cascais has he was rushing through again That was the only good time we had on our own and came back to Lisbon on the train Are Duro valley trip in Porto was just the opposite, a wonderful experience also booked with you guys

    Sintra is such a cool place to visit, definitely a must come again! Me and my wife were on a tour with a small group and the itinerary the guide set for us was very well put together. We managed to see a lot! A lot of people at the Pena Palace, but it was worth it as the view is amazing. Awesome guide, Joaquim was always making us laugh while telling us curiosities and facts about the things that surround us.

    I was lucky to manage to find a tour with available seats for me, as I booked last minute. It must have been destiny, as this tour was amazing and it allowed to me to see and get to know Sintra and the locals in a way I didn't expect. The group I was with was amazing and fun, made it an even better time. Everything was well put together, one of the best experiences in portugal so far.
