The guide was good, but the group was too large. It was difficult to hear him unless you were near him because of the street noises. Generally the itinerary was good, but there could have been fewer stops out near Abbey Road, which would have allowed time to go to the museum near the waterfront.

Very knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed the tour.The Beatles story still is very interesting. Had fun even with a cloudy and occasional showers all day. Bring your raincoat, umbrella and sweaters.

Jean was amazing. Despite the rain and crowd, she gave us a great feel of the origin and the story of the Beatles from its origins to now. The 90 minutes tour is a disservice and go all the way. So worth it.

We made the right choice in choosing this tour. Our local guide - Rob Down - was excellent. He was passionate and knowledgeable and told the group many information about The Beatles as well as about Liverpool. This tour brought us to The Beatles Museum, The Cavern Club, took public bus to Penny Lane, the childhood homes of John Lennon and etc. Highly recommended!

Rob is the best tour guide. He is not only a Beatles expert but I also liked other Liverpool historical facts that he shared. He went above and beyond for us. It was raining the whole day but we enjoyed the tour tremendously. We are planning to bring our parents next year and request for Rob again.

We had a great time on this excursion! We started with our guide Jean in the morning... She took us on a walking tour of the city.... First, near the port, explaining some history, the buildings and the statues. Then through the city and into a couple of historic buildings. We made our way into the city centre of shops and clubs, and right down into the Cavern Club, first place that the Beatles were noticed. Fun times.... Jean did an excellent job with the info and pace of the tour. After lunch, we were taken on a bus tour by a different guide. We toured Penny Lane... lots of good info was provided. Also, the tour included Strawberry Fields, homes of Paul McCartney and John Lennon.... We finished the tour back in the city by the Art Institute where John Lennon attended.... On our own we concluded our day at the famous exhibit, The Beatles Story, just a 10 minute walk from the cruise ship. It was a highlight of our British Isle cruise.

A fantastic tour covering all aspects of The Beatles and their history. Our host, Bob I think, sorry couldn't read the name on the card was brilliant and had so much knowledge of the Beatles, his passion for them and their music was evident! We saw all the sights we wanted to and not only travelled on foot but also by bus and taxi to fit everything in. A highly recommend tour and good value for money.

Loved this walking/bus tour. The tour guide did a great job of sharing his enthusiasm for all things Beatles with the tour. I Amy have missed it but didn't realize we would be taking the bus after lunch to go out to drive by Penny Lane John's birth place. We did get to stop for a photo at Strawberry Field. would have liked a longer time seeing the stuff and less time for lunch. The Cavern club was a delight and fun to see. Might have been fun to end the tour there. Would definitely recommend doing this tour.
