Driver didn’t show after emailing to say plane would be delayed. Spent over an hour looking and so did Heathrow staff. Plenty of cabs waiting - don’’t waste your time booking these guys

Really disappointed in the transfer. I booked private transfer thinking it would be a sedan but got picked up in a Ford van. Driver was late meeting us by 15-20 minutes and the number provided to call her didn’t work for some reason. Called the office number and they said she should be there. Went looking for her and finally found her. She was disheveled and not professional looking and had a mouth full of food. I’ve had much more professional Uber drivers. Asked if she just got there and she said “Um-Hm” and that was the last she said. Not a single word on the entire (very long) drive to central London. Not a “Is this your first time in the UK?” Or “How was the flight?”
On the positive side, she did get us to our hotel safely without accident or incident but I kind of expect that when ordering a service.
Overall, Very disappointing.

United switched planes in Houston which delayed arrival by 1 and half hours. They started it saying 40 minutes and it was double!
The driver, Muhammad was very kind and professional.
We had busy streets doe to the Subway strike. It was a difficult day and he did an excellent job getting me to my destination.

The whole experience was pretty flawless. Found our drive easy, professionally dressed and pleasant. Car was in perfect condition. We asked for a large vehicle (3 men and 6 suitcases) and it was a roomy, comfortable van.

Driver was excellent and really knew the city. There was a delay in getting luggage from the airline but driver waited patiently and contacted us so we found her very easily. Highly recommend. After a long overnight flight and jet lag, it was nice not to have to worry about this part of our trip.

I have waited until my return home to write this review. Because I recognize that September 19 in London was an unusual situation, I do notwish to post it for public view. However, even though the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II presented travel challenges, I am not willing to overlook the inconveniences without comment.
I booked a Viator pickup service from London Heathrow for our arrival in the UK for several reasons. I am a 72-year-old woman traveling with my sister (also a senior) and my niece. One of the things I really despise about traveling is schlepping luggage especially after a 10-hour flight. Viator’s promise of having someone “meet us at the gate with a meet and greet sign board” appealed to me especially since my sister is not a veteran traveler. We were NOT met at the gate. Instead, our driver Victor indicated that he was 12 minutes away. I found that understandable given the traffic situation caused by the funeral. I texted him our location in the terminal and waited and waited and waited. Finally, I received a text indicating he was “in short-term parking on Level 3.” Finding short term parking in an unfamiliar airport and schlepping luggage through the crowds without any idea of where we were headed was unpleasant surprise number one.
While it has been a number of years since my last trip to London, I began to sense we were heading to the wrong location. Three weeks prior to our trip I had written to Viator indicating that where we were staying had changed and provided the new address. However, poor Victor our driver had not been given the new address and was not prepared to navigate to the new location. That was unpleasant surprise number two.
For several hours we literally drove in circles around London without making any headway toward our accommodation. All of us were in desperate need of restroom facilities and food at this point. Finally, we spotted a pub that appeared to be open and the manager kindly invited us in and said we could use their toilets. Victor determined that trying to get us where we were staying was outside his capability, and (apparently) with the blessing of the company, off-loaded two elderly women and one younger one along with our luggage at the pub. Yes, we agreed, but, in truth, we really felt we had no other option. Unpleasant surprise number 3.
What happened in the ensuing hours has little to do with Viator since by then we had been abandoned by the company. However, it took a marathon run by my niece and more schlepping of luggage and finally a surge-price Uber ride to get us to our accommodation a good 10 hours after landing in London.
And, did I mention, the one thing I really hate about traveling is schlepping luggage???

I stood in the arrivals lounge and parking garage for 3 hours, some of it with a representative of the company, waiting for the driver. . . . I understand there was some sort of traffic problem around Heathrow, but in the 3 hours that I stood there politely with the rep, I watched at least 50 parties get picked up by rideshare companies. Cars were definitely able to get there, so I am floored that the company couldn’t get a driver to me in all that time.
I was eventually led back to the arrivals area to wait again with a group of people, to then walk to another terminal to get on a shuttle bus. Overall, from the time I landed to the time I reached my London hotel it took over 4 hours, most of which I was either standing or walking. NOT IDEAL when you’ve flown overnight to get there. I paid a lot for a private car, but ended up on a shuttle, waited forever and had to walk all over the airport.
The driver of the shuttle and the rep who stood with me were both very pleasant. My complaint is with the dispatcher/back office who couldn’t figure out how to get me what I ordered and then offered no apology or refund. Absolutely unacceptable. I would recommend calling Uber!

Failed to pick us up. Phone operator said you did not have the information needed about the drop off location. I responded to your email the evening before and told you it was the Claremont Victoria hotel in London. I also provided that information when I made the original appointment. Please refund my 146 pound prepayment.
For the money it’s worth the peace of mind.

Liked having transportation planned in advance. Polite employees. Wasn’t as seamless as we’d hoped. Took awhile to find the representative. Then that person escorted us to a parking area until a driver was ready.
