Der Guide (Sisu) ging wenig auf Fragen ein und war schlecht gelaunt nachdem wir den Besuch der Steinmanufaktur abgelehnt hatten. Er ging die einzelnen Stationen nicht mit, sondern erklärte alles in 10 min unten beim Eingang und ließ uns dann allein.

Der Führer, den wir Roshdy genannt hatten, war sehr gut. Sehr kompetent und freundlich. Wir haben die Zeit mit ihm sehr genossen. Auf unserer Reise haben wir viel über die Geschichte, Kultur und antike Zivilisation gelernt. Das Auto war in sehr gutem Zustand und komfortabel - obwohl dies in Europa oder den USA üblich zu sein scheint, ist es zumindest in Luxor ein seltener Fund.

Mohsen und Osama: ein tolles Paar! Vom Hotel abgeholt, als sie sagten, sie würden ankommen, und alles war wie in der Buchung angegeben. Osama ist ein sicherer Fahrer und war pünktlich zu allen Orten, die wir sehen wollten. Während der Exkursion beantwortete Mohsen alle unsere Fragen - - einschließlich derjenigen über die lokale Kultur und Traditionen. Seine Englischkenntnisse sind hervorragend, und sein Wissen über die Geschichte von Luxor war faszinierend. Zu keinem Zeitpunkt während des Tages fühlten wir uns gehetzt oder in Eile. Tatsächlich luden wir Mohsen im Imbiss im Tal der Könige zu einer Tasse Tee ein, und es fühlte sich an, als würde man mit einem Freund sprechen, den wir schon lange kennen. Alles war entspannt und komfortabel. Suchen Sie nicht weiter mit anderen privaten Touren. . . . . . Mohsen und Osama sind erstklassig!

Unvergessliche Tour zum Westjordanland Luxor

Die Tour war perfekt auf unsere Bedürfnisse zugeschnitten. Wir waren eine Gruppe von Oma, Eltern und Enkelkindern, die Englisch und Arabisch sprachen und mit unterschiedlichen Gehgeschwindigkeiten unterwegs waren! aber unser freundlicher Führer Roushdi hatte es geschafft, alle unsere Fragen in beiden Sprachen zu erklären und zu beantworten. Wir waren im Tal der Könige und dem beeindruckenden Hatschepsut-Tempel. Der Van war modern und sauber. Der Fahrer ist sehr höflich. Vielen Dank & beste Wünsche.

So our Tour Guide was Adam. He was very professional but also very friendly. He helped us out with everything from shopping to things to do at each site. His knowledge was excellent and he brought each of the locations to life with his explanations. A great value tour of exactly the right duration.
The worst tour we ever did

Our guide was clearly not qualified to do this tour. He knew and shared some facts and numbers, but that's about it. There was no interaction, storytelling or explaining logical sequences of events. He even failed to introduce himself at the beginning. Everything he said just seemed very random, purely descriptive, without context or perspective and he wasn't even using proper sentences, so his level of English is definitely not appropriate for this. This tour generally has a very good rating, that's why we chose it, but we were incredibly disappointed and just wanted it to be over, because it would actually be better if we saw these amazing sites without a guide. Not sure if the 5 star ratings are fake or we were just unlucky.

The experience was great. Alaa Korany was an exceptional guide. He knew the sites, the tombs, and the history of the areas we visited. He was organized and polite. This tour was one of the best I’ve been on using Viator.

Getting to see the monuments with an expert guide who could give us both the modern and historical perspective of the area. We were able to ask all our questions and get detailed, complete answers about the architecture, culture during the time the tombs were constructed and how Egyptians celebrating their history today.

Mohamed awad, my tour guide, was Awesome!! He was knowledgeable and explained everything. He had photos of things that aren’t easily as visible due to time and aging. He answered every and all questions. He was on time and so friendly.

Roshdy is a living history book. We learned a lot from him. He is really polite and knowledgeable. We had a great visit. I wouldn’t do West and East Bank in one day, it is an overkill. This program of 4-5 hrs is just about right for a late start and balanced visit.

Very glad we booked this organised escorted tour of the West Bank, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's Temple and Colossi of Memnon through Viator. Very well organised from Hotel pick up by air conditioned vehicle, to our return with excellent guiding and commentary throughout. We were very well looked after by our excellent guide Roshdy who kept us away from any unwanted hassle from local sellers. Everything included from entry fees to bottled water. We were offered additional visits to Alabaster Factory if wanted, but again with no pressure at all, the choice is up to you. Thoroughly recommended for a memorable experience.
Pretty poor private tour

The most memorable parts were the sights themselves. The tombs in the valley of kings are magnificent as well as the temple of Hatshepsut. Apart from this, we were not really happy with the tour guide due to the following reasons. - Water was included as part of the package. However, there was a lot of arguing with the guide. At the end, he did provide it, but treated it as a favour. - The optional extras at the valley of kings were not communicated. When we asked to see two additional tombs, we had to pay an extra 300 EGP each to the guide and the driver (although, I don’t think the driver saw anything of it). Apparently, thus as to cover the extra bits that the guide had to explain to us (a few minutes) and the extra waiting time. Please note that inspite of visiting the site extra tombs and the unnecessary shops that the guide took us to, we completed the tour within the advertised time. - Taking us to shops to make us buy stuff. At one of the shops, we were quoted 9000 EGP for some items. The guide took us aside and advised us that 7500 is a good price. I later bargained it down to 3000 EGP, I probably could have got it for less. The point is that the guide was completely untrustworthy. What should have been a great experience was really spoilt by the unpleasant attitude of the guide. I would not recommend this travel company.
