Given the amount of positive experiences we consistently provide, we don't often get reviews like yours. So, we'd like to offer a small explanation (plus a little something that we hope will make you happy). As stated in our product description, we're only able to offer this tour in English and French for now. You have booked the first option, but were somehow expecting a tour guide who speaks German, since that's the only language your wife speaks. That was a real challenge.. because you had to spend 4 hours trying to translate to your wife everything your guide told you. Unfortunately, a lot of complex historical and cultural information got lost in translation! We can assure you that your guide was definitely not stating his personal views, but telling you stories that happened centuries ago and have no relevance today... As you were kind to mention, we work with some of the friendliest and most genuinely kind-hearted tour guides / drivers you'll find in the region. We cherish our guests and truly aim to offer you an authentic and deep insight into our Moroccan culture. And that's precisely what has earned us many awesome reviews, and unique partnerships with respected international brands, such as the Four Seasons Resort... and that's also, by the way, exactly why we have included, in the tour, a short visit of the workshops, where merchants have been crafting and selling their goods for the past 1000 years, to give our guests, if they want (yes, our tours are customizable!), the opportunity to explore the Souks and take photos of beautiful objects, without the hassle that you may unfortunately encounter finding your way on your own in the labyrinths of the old town... Our partners are meticulously selected, and they will always treat you well, and greet you with a big smile! Finally, let's be frank.. You visited us just when COVID-19 was officially declared a global pandemic.. and when Morocco began implementing strict public health measures as a response to the crisis. We were, as always, committed to taking care of our guests as best as we possibly can. However, Marrakech was unfortunately not in its best shape, shops were closing, and people started stressing out... and this has had a negative impact on how you felt about your whole experience. So, here's what we'll do to make this right for you: Next time you're in Marrakech, when international travel resumes, please send us an email, and we would be very happy to offer you a new experience — hopefully in German, we're working hard to add this option — that's more representative of our usual quality standards, and show you how we are different, and why our guests think we are amazing...
