A highlight of our Maui trip with our 4 teens!

Amazing trip, professional and friendly crew. Delicious food. We liked the experience on a smaller boat vs the larger catamaran style tour. We got to talk to our crew more and it was a more personalized experience. Both snorkel locations were amazing but the 2nd stop was a crowd pleaser where we swam with lots of turtles and saw a few reef sharks. Highly recommend!

West Maui is the best for Snorkeling Maui

West Maui Snorkeling Experience by Boat from Ka'anapali, owned by Austin, Is the BEST! Family owned boat was comfortable and well equipped. Captain Brady and First Mate Emma were focused on safety, comfort and fun. Their knowledge of snorkel spots - quality equipment for those needed it, and Emma’s ability to spot sea creatures from her surfboard as our certified lifeguard was all amazing. Highly recommend you saying Aloha to them when you plan your trip to Maui!

My best friend and I went snorkeling for the first time. The entire crew was amazing! We especially loved Shasta! She was in the water snorkeling with the entire group and when she saw my friend and I lagging behind (my friend couldn't get the hang of moving in the water very well), she swam back to us to check on us, and then she gave my friend her floatation device and literally pulled her along the water while I swam next to them. Shasta was very patient and friendly. She would engage the entire group by pointing out different sea creatures. Throughout the entire snorkeling adventure, the entire crew was wonderful! They all made us feel very comfortable and had a great sense of humor. They also fed us extremely well! We got fresh fruit, beverages (juice, soda, water, coffee), chips, cookies, wraps, and banana bread. We did 3 excursions while visiting Honolulu and Maui for the first time and this was by far my favorite one! Highly recommend!

Wear sunscreen and be prepared to see amazing sea life. The crew was extremely helpful and friendly. Our family of 5 had a terrific time and were blown away by the sea turtles. The snacks/lunch provided were delicious as well. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Would totally do it again

Great snorkel excursion. The crew was terrific. Two really nice snorkels - especially the crumbled pier where we saw countless Sea turtles. They efficiently served a light breakfast and lunch that hit the spot. We would definitely book with this group again.

Absolutely amazing experience! We went during the first week of March during whale migration season. It was absolutely magical. Saw at least 8-10 whales and calves on the way to the snorkeling spots. First snorkeling spot was great, second spot was amazing! We swam within 15 feet of several sea turtles! The crew absolutely spoiled us with fresh fruit and banana bread for breakfast, a catered lunch, and desert. Finished off with a spa-like peppermint infused towel to get the salt off our faces. Crew was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and was very accommodating to first timers and pros. Cannot recommend this small business enough. Made our trip very special.

Incredible! We went late January, and saw about 10 whales and 10 sea turtles on this tour, it was unreal! They provided us plenty of food, drinks, and snacks. Delicious catered breakfast and lunch. You can tell the staff love their jobs and were so excited to be on the water. Couldn't recommend it enough!!!

We had such a great time! Soooo much better than going out on a crowded catamaran! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! The banana bread and fruit in the AM was nice! Also, the wraps for lunch were really good too! Love to support small businesses like this because they really make you feel like your part of their family!! Thank you for the amazing experience! The tour guides were amazing. They served us very well and showed us some interesting things about whales. We saw a few whales at a very short distance. Tropical fish and turtles were everywhere! The water was a bit cold though. Overall it was a fantastic trip!

We were able to see turtles, an octopus, and all kinds of fish. The crew was terrific and knowledgeable. I had never snorkeled nor been in the ocean, I felt safe the entire time. This was absolutely the best money we have spent on this trip. It was a small group and that made a huge difference for me. We passed other excursions with an overwhelming number of people on board.

My husband and I booked this our last day in Maui, and it was hands down one of the best experiences while we were there! The guides were super helpful and encouraging, especially for those less experienced. They also showed and told us about different kinds of fish and other sea life that we may not have noticed when snorkeling. We snorkeled in two different spots, and we saw so many turtles at the second location! The food was catered from a local restaurant, and the Magic Merman team was great about accommodating to different diets (vegetarian, etc.). I highly recommend this group if you're looking to snorkel in Maui!

Very friendly and well run tour. Communication on what to expect was excellent before our trip and throughout the tour. Crew Emma and Aiden were so friendly and chatty with local knowledge and tips. Captain Jill clearly experienced. I was with my husband and kids ages 11 and 12 and felt very safe throughout. The small group of 20 helped make this a special experience for our family and not just another tourist crowd. Would highly recommend for families. Food was amazing - fresh fruit, banana bread, wraps for lunch with veggie option, juice/soda/water offered multiple times.
