We had a fantastic time and learned about as much as a person can learn in three hours. Brandon definitely knows his stuff and gave us some details and info. that maybe the old locals don’t even know. Not only was he filled with historical information but his background on the music side was really helpful since my wife is a music nut and knows alot about the history of music in the area and he blew her away. We’ll worth the time.

The guide called in sick so 10mins before the start, I got a mail of the company with apologies and the suggestion to reschedule in the afternoon, which fortunately worked with our schedule. Our guide Mike was stellar and we loved the tour and the Sun Studios.

Beale street with Sun Studios

We booked the private walking tour of Beale Street with Sun Studio. Sun Studio was fantastic and we had a very limited wait which was great considering the long line We did not find the tour of Beale Street very informative and our guide did not add much historical commentary. We walked through a very sketchy area to reach Sun Studio and our guide was not in tuned to how uncomfortable we were. After wrapping up at Sun our guide could not work his phone to get a ride share ( which was included in our tour) so we had to pick up the tab for the ride. We did make a few more requested stops and concluded back at Beale St. I think there were better options for a tour and this was not worth the money. Overall this lasted 3 hours and walked about 2.5 miles

Uber from Sun Studio

The tour guide was great ! The only complaint I have is being dropped off at Sun studio and no way to where we parked . The company needs to let customers know they need to provide transportation back to where you parked . We waited for a bus to show up and had to Uber to the Hard Rock . This tour cost to much money to not provide a detailed explanation of how you gonna get back .

Going to sun studios was great but the Beal street tour was definitely not a good experience our guid was not presented well and after walking all round Beal street he expected us to walk to sun studio when I said I can’t walk that for he ordered an Uber we then had to wait over an hour to get in sun studios because he said they don’t let him book in advance Definitely not worth the $203 we paid Very unhappy would like a refund
