Es wäre bestimmt toll geworden und ich habe mich über ein Jahr auf den Ausflug gefreut. Allerdings habe ich 3 Stunden vor Abfahrt die Mitteilung erhalten, dass die Tour aufgrund von zuwenig Teilnehmern kurzfristig abgesagt werden muss. Da war ich natürlich total enttäuscht, da ich extra einen Tag rangehängt habe an meinen Elvis Trip. :(

My mom and I began our trip to Tupelo by getting picked up at our hotel by Mr. Darnell, (Owner operator of Reliable Transportation). We scheduled this trip last minute and Mr. Darnell was such a joy to spend the day with professional, knowledgeable, personable, and very entertaining and of course, seeing Elvis‘s birthplace, the museum was just a dream come true and an awesome experience.

Darnell was an excellent guide. Tupelo was very nice and peaceful and a pleasure to walk around it. The dough burger is an acquired taste in jonnies. We also met the lovely couple Bev & Andy.

Everything about this day trip was terrific. Loved the sites, the couple from Australia on the tour with me, the information about Elvis, the lunch at Johnnie's Drive-In. Wrapping it all together was our tour guide, Darnell, that made the day the best!!

Had an amazing day with Darnell in Tupelo. Loved seeing the shotgun house, the hardware store and sitting at Elvis’ booth at the diner. Darnell shared a ton of history and we laughed all day. Money well spent!

Our tour guide Darnell Johnson had a vast knowledge of Elvis. He shared stories with us and shared places that we needed to see. We shared laughs and an Elvis sing along on the way back to Memphis. We would highly recommend Mr Johnson to everyone. A very enjoyable day.

We did a private tour of Tupelo and had the most excellent experience. Darnell has a great energy and he fully empathised with our love of Elvis. He’s patient, good humoured, informative and caring. We got to see everything we wanted, and more. It was an exceptional experience and I will tell anyone who wants a complete tour of Elvis - to do both the one in Tupelo and Memphis hosted by Darnell. Absolutely brilliant.

Best tour of the week! The tour guide/driver, Darnell, was the best! He made sure to point out all the interesting little things about Elvis to my granddaughter. We had 2 others on the tour and the 5 of us had a good time laughing and singing along to Elvis on the ride. I highly recommend this tour.

We were picked up from our hotel by Darnell there was only me and my partner on the trip that day. Darnell showed us different places along the way he was the perfect guide and very knowledgeable, he took us to show a couple of places once back in Memphis. I’d definitely recommend this tour if you’re coming to Memphis. 10/10 for Darnell Johnson. Thanks Jane and Chris from the UK

A must for all Elvis Fans!

To all Elvis fans, this tour is a must! Darnell our driver and tour guide for the day was absolutely fantastic, and while we travelled in comfort, Darnell kept us entertained with Elvis music, humour and recommendations while staying in Memphis. We seen may things, Elvis's birthplace, the 2 room house his Dad built, Elvis's Church, School, Tupelo Hardware Store where his Mum Gladys bought Elvis's first guitar, and to top it off we got to sit and have lunch in the Elvis Booth at Johnies Diner! Wow! Also Tupelo Fairground, where Elvis's homecoming statue is and where he performed for his hometown fans. Our whole day was at leisure spending as much time as we needed. A day we will never forget! We also had Darnell drive us from the Peabody Hotel Memphis to our Hotel in Nashville, so much easier and quicker than catching a plane and waiting around airports. More time in Nashville and would highly recommend. Thanks Darnell, it was awesome!
