Unsere Reise nach Agra und zum Taj Mahal war eine, die ich nie vergessen werde. Es war ein langer 24-Stunden-Tag von unserem Hotel in Navi Mumbai nach Agra und zurück, aber alles funktionierte wie am Schnürchen. Vom Taxi zum Flughafen nach Agra und zurück war perfekt getaktet. Unser Führer in Agra war fantastisch und unser Fahrer war fantastisch auf den regennassen Straßen und im verrückten Verkehr. Machen Sie den Ausflug, es lohnt sich!

A Difficult Trip Made Easy

After a two hour flight, there is about a three hour drive to Agra. Our driver was expert in managing the complexities of Delhi traffic. Mr K.K has a delightful personality and provides an exceptional level of customer service. Our guide, Liman, provides the history and stories associated with the building of the Taj Mahal. I thought I was prepared to see the beauty of the Taj. I was not !!!! Literally took our breath away. Kudos the Nikita Travels for providing an unforgettable experience.

Our tour guide, Ranji, was one of the best I’ve ever had! Outstanding knowledge, cheerful & extremely helpful. Food choice was excellent. Tour company Nikita waited until very last few days before coordinating flights & tour. Very difficult to solicit timely information and to get complete information. 16 people from our ocean cruise received different information too. Trying to print flight documents left us with 4 hours sleep for a 24 hour trip (advertised for 17 hours)

Getting responses from organizer was reassuring for two older women traveling in India for the first time. Long drive from Delhi to Agra and back was enjoyable because we experienced the countryside so I would say this is a two tour day ! The flights with Indigo were timely and comfortable. Tour guide Rocky is professional and light spirited making the experience in Agra enjoyable. Lunch was yummy!

Longer than expected, but woth it

The best part of the trip is seeing and wandering the grounds of the Taj Mahal. Originally, we were expecting a pick-up time at the Mumbai port of 4:00 AM and a return to the ship around 9:00 PM. In actuality, it was a 3:30 AM departure and around 3:00 AM return-nearly 24 hours and a really long trip. We didn't really find out about the increase in time until a few days before the trip. However, I don't see how the trip could have been done in much less time. The only thing that could decrease the time would be direct flights between Mumbai and Agra rather than flights between Mumbai and Delhi (about 2+20 hours each) and the long and harrowing 2+hour drives between Delhi and Agra. We actually got several other couples separately to take the trip, but we wound up going by ourselves where other were paired up in a van, which we would have preferred. The final details could have been provided earlier. I sent several questions to the provider, but they were basically unanswered, saying the details would be provided later, some less than 24 hours before the start of the trip. Despite these issues, the trip went well, we were met on time by various agents handling the pickups and transfers to/from the Mumbai and Delhi airports, and meeting the actual and very knowledgeable tour guides in Agra. So, in summary, it was truly a very long day, but most of us would do it again just to see the Taj Mahal.

The logistics at the airports were poor. We were dumped off to fend for ourselves. Very stressful.

The tour itself was very good. Glad I did it. I have nothing else to say. The logistics were not handled that well. The airport experience was stressful and the electronic communication was not that good. Not all us could get wifi and getting the boarding passes were difficult. It would have been nice if the tour guide would come with us and direct us to the right airline and check in gate.

Perfect Perfect Perfect!

This was my favorite day in Mumbai and I had a great time in Mumbai. 1. The great communication, flexibility, and attention to my needs was met at 100%. I was leaving that night to come back home and the flights were booked too close together. They were able to help change to earlier flight and got me back to the airport on time to catch that flight. 2. I was traveling solo and female. They had such great communication and continually checked on me throughout the trip and even asked if I made it back on time to catch my plane. 3. I didn’t think it could be done in a day. I most certainly didn’t think it would be comfortable. They went way above my expectations! The driver had my name at the gate and greeted me (Thank you Mr. Vishan). The tour guide, who is picked up in Agra, was so knowledgeable about every detail of the Taj (Thank you Mr. Rajni). He also got us through lines and security very quickly. When he got in the car, he said that he was not just my tour guide, but because it was Saturday he would also be my security. He met his word 100%! He was moving people around, getting us through cues, and he took care of everything. This was definitely a journey you should not miss. This is the company you want to do it with. Thank you again

Raj Sharma was great to work with. He made all our plans and was always available and flexible to change when our flights were cancelled then changed on our end. He kept me informed and waited for our airlines to confirm with us. We knew who would meet us, when and where. We had difficulty getting out of security and Nabi was there relieving some of the tension. He also was kind enough to safely store our luggage while we spent the day away in Delhi/Agra. Prem met us in Delhi with a floral lei greeting and drove easily to Agra. It was a long trip to the Taj Mahal, but the effort and time was more than worth the magnificence of the Taj Mahal! AMAZING!!!! The fort was terrific too. Our guide was well informed, accent was a bit heavy, and he was a creative photographer! Lunch was delicious and very reasonable. Our suggestion is unless you really want to purchase marble or precious stone jewelry, you eliminate a visit to the store they make the stuff and show you how and spend more time walking the grounds of the Taj Mahal and the fort. Driving through Agra is a treat!! Thank you Raj Sharma!!!!

Private trip from Mumbai to Taj Mahal

We had an excellent experience on our trip to the Taj Mahal. Our guide, Shubhi, was knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. My wife is recovering from breast cancer treatment and has very low energy. Both our guide and our driver, Ravi, made every effort to make the trip as easy as possible for my wife. When we exited The Taj Mahal they rented a tut-tut to take us to the car so my wife would not have to walk. On our way back to Delhi it was pouring rain and traffic was bumper to bumper. Ravi did a comendable job of getting back to the airport safely and on time. I highly recommend both of these men.
